We have wi-fi online link.

We are English (mid 60's going on 35!). Languages: some rusty Spanish, even rustier French, very limited Greek and Bulgarian work in progress.

We have spent 2016 working on the garden and it is now largely landscaped but there is a long way to go yet. We have planted new trees and bushes around the garden and we want more this year. Loads of trees (cherry, apple, plum, peach, pear, apricot and hazelnut) have to be pruned annually.

There is much painting and varnishing to be done, inside and out; building, woodwork, bricklaying and fencing jobs to do.

We also have to make seating areas and raised beds, pathways to lay and tile, etc. We need to lay some decking. We aim to use wood from the pruning/cutting in projects around the place, e.g. carvings/sculptures/whatever!

We also need help with lots of areas of the garden requiring less skilled work, digging, weeding, planting and mowing the lawn.

If you are artistic, we would love to incorp... more inside

Hello guys,
This is Hristo Atanasov.

We are looking for a native English speaker who can join our big family and play a role of a reporter.

We need someone to make pictures and create short stories about the various activities we are doing with the boys - basically manual work for local customers.

We'll use the materials for various social media to attract a bit of attention online.

We are not internet and online type of guys..our story is pretty inspirational, but our focus is still offline.

We can provide a bed and food. We are pretty flexible with your work hours. You can do well even with 2 hours per day.

Saturday and Sunday are days off.

Hi All and welcome to our brand new HelpX page. We are a tiny organic farm in rural Bulgaria. We grow lots of vegetables and keep a range of small farm animals including Goats and Pigs. We have lots of visitors at the weekends so that parents can show children where their food comes from, something that has quickly become lost in our fast paced society. We believe in the highest standards of animal welfare and all of them are free range.

We believe in keeping our carbon footprint as small as possible so we don't use much in the way of machinery.

We would love your help in keeping all of the vegetables looking nice because being organic sometimes means lots of weeds. We will teach you lots of new skills including how to milk goats and how to look after the animals. We are well known for our cooking here in Bulgaria and that extends to the food we provide for our volunteers.

We use the produce from the farm all the time and always sit down together at the end of the day to sh... more inside

This summer we are going to be continuing our fantastic project renovating our new home and garden. Anyone who is happy, easy-going and happy to help out is most welcome to stay and eat with us!
Our new home is on the edge of 2 national parks and is a really beautiful place surrounded by trees and rivers.
We are an English couple, Sharon and Steve with our sons, Sebastian, who is 8 and Sam who is 4 and Steve's mum now lives with us too.
So if you fancy helping us with that, then drop us a line. We think about 5 hours a day is normal but we are very open to negotiation.
Anything else you want to know, just contact us.
If you come, please bring a smile, and cake!
(Cake is optional!)

We are organic farm and need 1-2 helpers during our active season (Apris till October) for up to 2 weeks stay. We have a vineyard and a country house/winery in a village nearby. We also grow apples, sugar cane, sunflower, spelled etc. 9 hectares all together. The house also have big garden with fruits and vegetables, which will be partially our food supply. This year we also need someone with building skills to help restore our stone barn.
We ask for 20-25 hours work a week max, divided as you like.
The job is to work on the vineyards, filed and the garden. In the spring we will be planting the veg, graft and trim the vines etc.

In the fall we will harvest grapes and make them into wine (I will go through the entire process in detail). We also will pick wild and domestic fruits, veg and herbs and make them into jams, preserves etc.

We have just bought an old house in a beautiful Bulgarian village called Vetrintsi, near the medieval capital of Bulgaria Veliko Tarnovo. We are trying to winterize the house and make it liveable. We will be using natural materials to do so- cob and wood. We also have a big garden where we want to grow organic vegetables and if we find some time, we would like to plant some stuff there, too. Currently, we are living in another house in the same village and this is where we will all stay.
We also need one person to help us babysit our daughter Mia who is 2.5 years old, while Stely is working on the computer.

If you want to pick up some skills about natural building and give us a hand with either job - you are welcome. In exchange of 4-5 hours per day we would provide you with food and accommodation.

Hi to you who are reading this.

We don't have room for any helpers before the end of September, sorry but thats how it is this summer.
We are a Danish couple, and we live in Bulgaria. 53 and 60 years old.

We have moved from Denmark to Bulgaria and we love it. We have rented a house in a small village, and live there is so calm and nice.

We only host people for one week.

We live very primitively for the time being.

When you come to our home we expect you to become a part of our family and live like us.

We expect you to respect this and help us save the environment together with us. We only have one earth.
You should speak a decent English or German languish, or be honest when you do not understand what we are telling you. We have had people who did not tell us when they did not understand and that lead to some misunderstandings, and we love honesty in our house.
We are sociable people with an alternative lifestyle.

We cook a lot from scratch, and yo... more inside
