Mum's 1-acre garden requires attention, but I am mostly just seeking company for Mum, while weeding and pruning, and whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
No smoking.
Suits a quiet, gentle person.
Mum is learned, and well travelled.
Any details may be discussed on contact.
Previous people have learned to drive a car, gone sightseeing, and on bush-walks; played with the cats and dog, and helped with shopping and errands.
Mum is very wary of being taken advantage of, or being left in a vulnerable position: clearly, I would be only seeking individuals that would appreciate the need to be forward in their understanding of her concerns: as well as being discerning with contact details and personal business, and private affairs.
Dad and myself are around, and sometimes my daughter: but we will each have our own undertakings.

It would be advantageous if you wrote a lot of details in your first contact: centring on things like your expectations, preferences of foods/aller... more inside

Available: 1-5 June

I have 2 properties and looking for house sitters for a long weekend. It would suit a couple or 2 friends who are happy to share a room, and in need of a short term place to stay. You are respectful and easy going

We have 2 houses close to eachother, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom - easy access to public transport and plenty to do locally

Your only commitment would be to look after the dogs , daily walks and clean up after yourself - you must love dogs! - they are very active and love people. Other than that your time is your own. Meals are not provided, but there are plenty of cheap eats nearby, as well as markets/supermarkets.

The room has a really comfortable sofa bed, unlimited internet and some storage space.

We are easy going and relaxed, and hope that you would be too.

We live in inner west of Melbourne. Our area is only 6km to CBD and public transport is close by. Bike paths take you to Melbourne city in 15 minutes. Our home is in quiet street which leads onto popular local park which is home to large trees and parklands, walking tracks and playgrounds. Our home is a three bedroom home. We are a family of 4. Our children are two boys aged 11 years and our baby is 1 1/2. We have two pets- a very friendly labradoodle dog and her best friend, our cat. We require help with child minding. We own and operate a cafe/ wholefoods store and require support with watching our children, either at our home or alongside us at our cafe/store. We can devise a roster which suits both our needs and you will find us to be a relaxed and easy family to be around. We enjoy cooking and relaxing at home and gardening when we have time!. We hope to get chickens soon and are busily preparing our veggie patch for spring! Our home is walking distance to local cafes and par... more inside

Hi!
Welcome to Australia! We hope you have a great time in this big country!

We live in country Victoria approximately one hours drive from Melbourne. Our small country town Buninyong is close to the Old Gold Rush city of Ballarat. We are also close to The Grampians and The Great Ocean Road. - day trip distance.
Buninyong is a thriving community with cafes, supermarket, hotel, school, medical and wholistic health centres.
Buninyong also hosts an international cycling race every January. Buninyong township sits on the side of Mt Buninyong an extinct volcano. There are a number of walking and cycling track to enjoy. A favourite past time for Buninyong locals is mountain bike riding.

We are a family of 5.
The eldest child is learning French at High school and would love some French speaking Helpx travellers to come and stay.

We are an active family who also love to eat and share great food! We are involved in a local food group and enjoy growing our own vegetables.

Hello and "Welcome" to my world.

I am looking for someone to help with general maintenance/repairs around the house/property and would prefer someone with experience in these areas.

I live in an area of outstanding natural beauty on a 2 acre property near Mirboo North (Allambee South) in South Gippsland. It has majestic views of the rolling Strzelecki Ranges, see attached photos, and is situated in the middle of cattle farming country. It would be a haven for someone who would appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of the area. I originally came from the Cotswolds (in England) and those acquainted with the beauty of that area would understand why I came here. (Please see attached photos)

The house is a smallish brick house (2 bedrooms) and is perfectly sound and comfortable. A wood heater warms the whole house, there are fans in both bedrooms and a split system inverter heater/cooler in the lounge. Internet and wifi are available to you free of charge.

The picturesque co... more inside

Historic farmhouse high in the hills of the Otways overlooking the Southern Ocean. We are restoring the house, creating gardens and a hothouse and would love some help, especially from builders or carpenters, but any help is much appreciated. We have ocean to the south and national park to the north with glow worms and tree ferns. It is a very gorgeous place to spend some time. We are told our food is excellent and we take anyone staying with us to see things around the district if they don't have their own transport. We need practical and enthusiastic people who love to share their stories over a glass of wine and good food, so if that sounds like you we would love to hear from you.

Beautiful river front property in lush mountain valley backing state forest. Deer enter the property at night. There is a spring trickling through the land into a pond and then from the pond into a river where fresh trout and crays swim. The fishing is good and crays are big. Swimming in summer is a delight and camp fires sublime. These are the most carbon-dense forests in the world.

One of the top four springs in the world (drinking water) is close by providing the purest drinking water on earth. That's all we drink here. A Buddhist Monestry is within walking distance providing Dharma talks and delicious food daily.

The stay is in a humble cabin with fireplace. No mobile reception but unlimited internet. The local town is approx 7km away with nice cafes and town shops. There is a bus that heads into town and usage of car is possible as well for international licence holders.

There is lots of work here from raking up leaves and bark to weeding or pruning, whipping, mowing... more inside
