My 3 small children and i live on this beautiful block 2km from the beach and 7km from town. We grow vegetables and have many fruit trees as well as ducks and chickens.
There is also a healthy area of bush that makes a great camping ground. The property backs onto national park and reserve,Mt Hallowell and Monkey Rock.
Most work around the place is in tending to the garden, fruit trees and grass control. You would need to enjoy kids and there may be some child minding involved too if appropriate. Other jobs to choose from based on interest and skills include gardening, chain sawing, painting and gardening.
At the moment I need someone to do some painting for me inside the house in return for use of the whole house. This could be in October or in November.

We are offering a help exchange from October 2, 2017. We are a family of 4. We have a large house with 3 spare rooms. The house is on a 1200 square meter block. We have 2 dogs, chickens and gardens. We are a few blocks from the Bunbury beach and an hour from Margaret River. We also have a separate 1 acre vacant block which we need help to build a sustainable home on. We are interested in a cultural exchange which would benefit the helpers and our family.

We would provide free food, accommodation, internet access, use of bicycles and a private room in exchange for 1-2 hours of work per day. We hope we can help make your stay an enjoyable one.

We operate a real working Dairy farm with our sons Bryn and David, milking 250/300 holsteins cows year round. We have stud cattle and show at the local agricultural shows.
Situated 20km north of Margaret River and 20kms from the ocean and very fortunate to have Cowaramup Brewery and Brookwood Winery just up the road, both serving excellent meals. The Colonial Brewery has a great Beer and Pizza night on a Friday.
Our day starts at 6am with milking and calf feeding and ends around 6pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year. You stay in the house with us so you get the real Aussie family experience. We have two bedrooms, both double, shared bathroom. I love my guests to cook a meal or two.
We also grow 720 macadamia trees. Nuts harvested May to December.
The jobs you would be asked to help with are picking nuts, milking, gardening, general farm jobs and outside house jobs also washing the dishes.
The dairy is a 40 stand rotary operated by two people. We have taught every helper to... more inside
