We love welcoming backpackers, helpx travellers, itinerant farm workers, and rural workers getting their 2nd year visa. We cannot sign off 2nd year visa, but we can support you while you find paid work with our neighbours or network.

We have two accommodation options -- 1) "The Palazzo" a stand-alone bedroom which has a double futon bed and basic amenities, or 2) "The Cowaravan" caravan with 2 single beds and a kitchen. I can't guarantee which one I can give you, but you can let me know your preference and I will try.

The bathroom and kitchen is inside the main house and shared with us and other guests.

We are not a party house, but we do love to eat, drink and be merry. We enjoy hosting travellers who are respectful, and have a sense of humour as well as a can-do attitude.

Work at the farm could include weeding, landscaping, tidying up, fence building and general construction. We ask for 14 hours help/week in exchange for the accommodation, and another 14 hours/week in... more inside

We are looking for a single person or a couple who can help us at our farm. The work will include weeding, cleaning the property of leaves and branches, oiling wood, spraying and helping us in the morning with the horses, stables and paddocks. All the work is outside so you must like the outdoors.
We provide free food (no vegetarians, non smoker) and accommodation in return for work. We are living at the end of the valley where you can see the Australian wildlife. You can also enjoy our animals which are horses, dogs, cats and chicken.
Person(s) must be able to speak and understand English. If you love animals and the outdoor, you will love it here and will enjoy your stay. Please contact us and we will get back to you asap.

We live on the beginning of the Margaret River, 20km inland from the main town where amazing beaches and some of the best waves and wine in the world are found. We have a lovely water hole for swimming in summer and plenty of bush walking tracks through state forest for walking enthusiasts, there are two horses on the property if ridings your thing, although you will need to be experienced. We live a simple life, grow our on own veggies, have our own chickens and are now living in our owner built house that we had sooo much help with from past helpers. We have enjoyed the helpex opportunities in the past, made many great friends that we still have today and looking to make more in the future. For now we are hoping a single male may be interested in joining us for a month or so, my husband is needing a strong hand to help him with various farm work, sorry if that's sexist for some, I would be that hand f I could but men do actually have more muscles! Peter (a vet) and I (a lawyer) are renovating a house in Bayonet Head and are looking for help to do that. We live in the house (although I am often away) with Blackie, a labradoodle and Black Beauty, a pet rabbit and have 3 young girls who visit from time to time.

We are looking for a couple or group of friends who can help with painting, gardening and other renovating type jobs around the house. Work is 4 hours per day with one day off a week. Accommodation is either in a double room or a room with two single beds depending on what suits you. The bathroom is shared with everyone, at the moment it is mid-renovation and we are showering at Peter's mothers' house around the corner.

Own car is essential.

Hi there.
We are a laid back open minded easy going couple living a simple organic lifestyle close to nature.
Our place is between the pretty towns of Pemberton and Nannup with the Donnelly River on our boundary.
Our home is very simple but has all the modern conveniences.
We enjoy travelling, good food, good wine, good company and a lifestyle which respects the natural world.
Right now we need helpers to assist with cleaning up fallen trees on our property, cutting firewood and working in the garden.
So if you have experience using brush cutters or chainsaws that would be great but not essential. This is pretty physical work, so we can all enjoy a beer or a wine and a good meal together afterwards!
Helping with cooking and cleaning and renovating garden beds would be appreciated.
We have a caravan under shelter for Help x guests and we all share a bathroom and living area.
If you like being close to nature, if you enjoy working outdoors, having fun and do not mind getting... more inside
