I am tidying my mother in law's house in Chatswood, Sydney, in preparation for sale.

Chatswood is 20 minutes by train from Sydney Central Station, then I can pick you up from the train station, otherwise there are busses. The house is a 25 minute walk to the main Chatswood shopping area.

Jobs could be cleaning, gardening, preparation for painting & painting, general maintenance etc. Work times (time of day & duration i.e. you can work more some days to have other days off) are worked out to suit both parties.

You are welcome to stay for a couple of days or up to a few weeks.
Thank you & looking forward to hosting you.

This is a cattle station tucked away in the upper Tooma River valley and surrounded by Kosciuszko National Park. The scenery is breathtaking and the various jobs we are undertaking to restore this run-down property provide plenty of opportunities for volunteers to feel a part of the process. We have sheds to build, paddocks to plow and sow, blackberries to mulch as we clear the paddocks (or pick and eat, depending on the season!), horses to break-in and ride, working dogs to train, fences to build or repair, yards and cabins to build, dams to dig, and an orchard and vegetable gardens to maintain and develop. We can make use of just about any skill! Because of the remoteness, we could arrange for pick-up and drop-off but would like a commitment to help for a couple of weeks.
A helper called Laurene made the video below in July 2016 during her stay.
