A beautiful old apartment in a 130-year-old building in the heart of the historic old town of Cartagena on the sea.
We live in the pedestrian area of the old town. The sea is a 6-minute walk away, local shops are two minutes.

We are a working couple, Pepe is a pharmacist who runs our own natural medicine Herbal store and I am an English teacher. We have one daughter and two cats.

English and Spanish are spoken fluently at home.
We are ideally looking for someone who can spend about four hours per day. We are painting and decorating an apartment, so this is the main work.

We're easy going and we can offer you accommodation in a private apartment with your own kitchen.
We would prefer a non-smoker, but if you must smoke, there are balconies!

We don't offer meals included, as we are very busy and don't always have time to eat at home. But you will have a kitchen to yourself where you can cook whatever you want.

There are many local cultural activities and p... more inside

WE HAVE A LAST MINUTE OPENING FOR THE WHOLE SUMMER FOR UP TO 3 PEOPLE

A very beautiful 120 Year Old Olive Mill and Farmhouse that we are beginning to lovingly restore.

The house is on a river and surrounded by olive groves and natural park. It´s a gorgeous spot for nature lovers who enjoy the outdoors. Great hiking and really fun local village. (Arhidona)

There is a lot of work to do to prepare the land, ready for planting and irrigating. 120 Olives need TLC and the land between them needs to be cleared of rocks and ploughed. The river banks need to be cleared of rubbish and trash. Fencing needs to go up. Top soil from the back field needs to be stored for manure.

We also have 3 dogs that require walks, 8 chickens and the house has lots of visitors so there is general housework to help with.

We are a male couple and my younger brother Reuben, who has Down Syndrome, lives with us. English is essential as he doesn´t speak any Spanish. We have a gardener and a lot of ... more inside

I have a house in La Zarzuela near Zahara los Athunes. I live with a 3 cats and 3 dogs and my 9 year old son.

I only want non smoking people, sorry. I would like like guests to work 5 hours per day 5 days a week in return for meals and a nice clean comfortable bed.

The work is to decorate and refurbish some things around the house before the middle of June so only people who enjoy to work should come.

There is a bicycle to use for those without transport. La Zarzuela is a rural town with 4 restaurants and 1 shop but Zahara is 4.5 km away where there are many more shops and supermarkets plus a very nice beach. The area is great for beaches, hiking, birdwatching and a relaxing country stay.

We live in a beautiful old house with fruit trees garden in a small town near Salamanca (25km far). Help required from Sunday 14th May until Saturday 20th May (7 days)

At the moment, there are a lot of dry weeds that need hand weeding around the house area. Once this is completed, there will be weeds to be strimmed out down on the land.

There may be a little painting to do also.

Possibly gravel spreading (a lot of it), if I can find a local supplier for bulk delivery.

Strimming out entails walking about on the VERY steep hillsides in the hot sun and using a petrol strimmer in preparation for when we begin the almond and olive harvests, later in the year. It is not for the weak or faint hearted. This is hard / physical work.

We live in the foothills of the mountains and the ground is steep, stoney and loose underfoot. You will need stout shoes with good (grippy) tread, a pair of good overalls (coveralls or old clothes (not shorts)) and a good hat (for the sun and to keep the trees from hitting your head too hard as you walk about beneath them).

We have 4 dogs and ... more inside

I am working on a 15th C palace in the main square of a medieval stone-built town. The house has views of open country but has only a small patio.

I am working to turn it (gradually) into a mixed venture which will include a cafe, a space in which theatre could be performed, a sales space (crafts, products of the area? etc) and in the longer term, a proper restaurant. It is unlikely that it will ever make much money but I am probably more interested in making something of quality - both in appearance and use.

Any skills in and around a house are welcome. There are always things to get on with but I am easy going and I really value good conversation.

Don't worry if your travel plans are vague, some guests stay for months others for just a few nights.

Good food and good drink are part and parcel of palace living. Just about any diet can be readily catered for.

The area is an angler's, bird-watcher's and wild flower enthusiast's paradise.

There is a large room whi... more inside

I live in Almendral, its a small and chill town in the province of Badajoz with 1.200 people, its 25 minutes from Badajoz by bus, this town have some free plataforms to entertain you, like nintendo wii, pool, football field and basketball that you can use.

In the near future (maybe JULY) i will need some help with the cleaning and with some basic contruction works to do in my grandparents house, it has been empty for a while and for that reason it needs a big makeover.
My project is to repair the house to move my etnographic museum, to this house, actually got it in my own house.
I would like to make this house a cultural house, where visitors and local people can see the museum, see some interesting objects of the near past and learn of my town.

In the first stage i will need help with cleaning, throwing away some forniture, cutting grass and some basic construction works, i will provide you all the tools neccesary, i would need volunteers at least for 2 weeks min - max 2... more inside
