Just under an acre of land. Some fruit trees and bushes and a neglected veg patch. For this year the area needs some landscaping , tidying and spring sowing and planting.i'm also hoping to get a polytunnel so may need help to get that started. Perhaps may create a moveable hen run. I'm also exploring permaculture design and encouraging some wild plants. That said I'm still grass-cutting for now.
Accommodation is provided in my home. Vegetarian food is provided and we may share cooking. 4 hours garden work is generally in the morning but this time is flexible and may depend on the weather.. I've a great love of the nearby Burren and play some traditional music so helpers will experience this. I'm outside town so if you want to explore independently you'll need transport.
I speak english, irish, french and am working on spanish.
Autistic people are particularly welcome if your sensory needs can be accommodated.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Joan

Old listed house overlooking sea in spectacularly beautiful area. There are some old single storey farm buildings which need re-roofing in corrugated irom and one building which simply needs painting. There are also some 18 acres of grounds and woods which need clearing, planting and maintaining. There is a comfortable self contained flat in the courtyard and a small cottage (which needs the painting) overlooking the sea.

Hello, I'm looking for help around the garden, landscaping, finishing a shed conversion, stonework, paving etc., lots of little projects that need finishing - and some inside stuff too if that appeals. I am looking at hosting for short term stays, between 3 days and a week, or sharing helpxers with some friends. I think I'm reasonably easy going, but would like people to be able to work independently and to be clear communicators.

I have a relatively eco house, with a compost toilet and grass roof. It's about 5 miles out of the village in a very beautiful part of the country, near the sheep's Head walking trail.
I can offer a bedroom or a lawn to camp on.
I play music, so musicians welcome, I can throw a guitar lesson or two into the exchange.

I will be in Greece over Easter and it will be the second week in May before I'm able to host anybody - but then I could really use some help getting this place ready for the Summer!

I look forward to meeting you. Catherine

Easy going place to learn and practice English language skills. This is a small farm with a large barn, other outbuildings, a mobile home and a bungalow. TV, wifi, bicycles, barbecue, hot-water, showers etc. all on site. Food and cooking facilities provided. Beautiful spot during the summer months with lots of wildlife including hawks, herons, pheasants, badgers, foxes, hares, rabbits, dragonflies and butterflies.
Sleeping arrangements range from a room in the house to a room in the barn or the mobile home and depend upon circumstances but I'll try to make you as comfortable as possible. So email me with dates and I'll be more specific about beds etc.
There is a lot of work to be done from fencing to digging to block-laying and carpentry. Cooking, cleaning and gardening also need to be done. A great place to learn new skills or to share old ones. A place for anyone willing to help out with whatever talents they have to share.
Knock Airport is 45 mins away. Bus and train in Ballin... more inside

Amazing opportunity!

Helper(s) required from April 2017 for the Summer months for planting, potting, etc in a beautiful rural organic nursery.

We are a family run organic nursery on the outskirts of a beautiful rural village.

The nursery is located in a farm setting, surrounded by horses. The horses are available to the helpers all throughout the period.

Great standard private accommodation supplied for 1 or more helpers. All the necessities and food supplied for your stay with us.
