We have been growing certified organic Medicinal Herbs for 25 years producing herbal teas and skin care products. Growing our own food is very important to as and we grow most of our veggies, and grain. We have our own orchards going. We have a lot of Native forest and do all our building using timber which we produce on our portable sawmill from our forest. We have spring water coming out of the ground near our house and a dam for summer swimming.
We have an interest in yoga and meditation.
Our area is very beautiful with mountains, rainforest, wildlife and abundant bush walking to be done all around us. We are away from everybody with no neighbours, surrounded by Nature.
We offer a morning yoga class before breakfast and meditation in the evening for anybody interested.
We have 6 children with 1 still with us at home. Our lifestyle is simple and close to Nature and our home rustic with an outside composting toilet. Accommodation is in either cabins or a bus. We are vegetarians... more inside

We are currently seeking assistance from a single or a couple who can help us with pruning the orchard and preparing our vegetable gardens for spring planting.

What we offer: Forest block with caravan accommodation. Lots of wildlife around. Access to shower & toilet. 5 minutes to surf beach, snorkeling, diving. You're welcome to join one of our boat trips, on days we have spare seats available.

What we require: Someone who is keen to give us a hand raising our wallaby babies, building an earth-bag dome, fencing, gardening, decking out a container, daily chores etc. Some general building experience would be awesome, but if you would just like to learn by doing, that is totally fine.

Hi all talented people who like to do some building and woodwork!
We are 4th generation pear farm on a Tasman peninsula. Just 10 min from well known Port Arthur Historic Sites.
If you are interested in building and are a creative person and good with tools we have an opening for you;)
About the project:
We have some old pickers huts we would like to renovate to open as accommodation and looking for someone to help our dream come true.
We would like to use as much recycled materials from our farm as possible and any ideas are welcome. If you have any experience with natural building materials, would be a bonus.
We expect from a person to be able to cooperate but should be able to work alone.
In exchange we are offering a fun project experience, farm stay situated close to the sea, private location, lots of walks around the area. If you are a keen surfer there is a well known spot for experienced surfers - Roaring Beach just 20 min drive.
We expect you to work 4h a day 5 day... more inside

Hi there we live by the sea and are renovating a little cottage here. We need help with some packing and organising inside the house along with some light cleaning and sometimes cooking.. Outside we need help with a landscaping project, establishing a permaculture garden, building a deck and a small carport. We have two dogs, so you need to like animals. We are a quiet couple .. And therefore prefer someone who is happy with reading and walking etc. as their recreation .. We also have very good wifi ... The beach is beautiful, we have a kayak and a small dingy for fishing and recreation.. We are 15 mins from Cygnet the nearest village. Please contact by email .. Telephone is unreliable here. Many thanks.

Beautiful 45' Sailing boat we found in Florida and sailed across the Pacific.

Up on the land for some painting jobs right now in Sandy Bay, Hobart. If you feel like being a helper and going for a sail when the boat is back in the water this might be for you.

Jamie and Lisa have two small children. Lisa and the children are staying not on board while the boat is on the land, but close by.

If you're interested in sailing, cruising, fishing, walking and you would like to get an idea what it might be like to be coastal cruising or cross an ocean alone, as a couple, group, or family, you will definitely gain practical experience and skills here.

Projects while in harbour include sanding and painting, varnishing, electrical and woodworking. Great travels and see you soon :)
