Hello helpers, I have a one hectare property, close to the M1 and nerang Railway Station that I would like some help to finish off a few projects I have around the house. Accommodation provided is a bedsit style cabin, with ensuite and kitchenette. There is a paved outdoor area with a BBQ, and a fireplace. Free range chickens provide fresh eggs. There are beginnings of vegetable gardens. I would like 4 hours per day work in return for meals and accommodation, or 20 hours per week. Meals will consist of breakfast and dinner. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave oven toaster and jug etc.
Positions available from mid December onward. Building skills highly regarded.
Contact to further discuss.

We would appreciate some more helpers on our certified organic vegetable farm, planting, picking and packing veggies.

We supply wholesalers in Brisbane, local restaurants and organic shops.

We're just over an hour southwest off Brisbane and just over an hour from Gold Coast.

Accommodation is in a renovated worker's cottage. It's clean, tidy and cozy. Fresh linen is supplied.

All meals are shared with us in our home. Eat fresh veggies from our farm at every meal;) Ange is a great cook and can cater for all dietary needs.

We are fair and reasonable people and have good breaks at morning tea, lunch time. We usually work 4-6 hrs a day:) All meals will be shared with us in our home.

Please text or call with any further questions.

Cheers
Ange and Steve

Free guided tour of Magnetic Island for the helper! - Read to the end.
Handy one/gardener/cleaner wanted for home stay on Magnetic Island, 25 minutes by ferry from Townsville, North Queensland. You will be living with a fun, fair minded couple in their 70's who have made friends with previous helpers. My wife, Joan, and I enjoy the surrounding bird-life and tropical lifestyle and hope you will too. You will need to work for approx 4.5 hours per day, on cleaning, gardening or odd-jobs to improve our pleasant 2 storey home. We have 2 very friendly dogs who may need occasional walking on the beach. Would suit a fit and energetic person. Good food, nice house, use of the swimming pool. Minimum four days, maximum, if we like you, two weeks. Our languages: English, some Thai and a little of Italian and French. We are moral, but atheists, so anyone dominated by their religion is not suitable. Col is a tourism ace and will give the helper a free guided car tour of the Island.

UPDATE: Looking for a general farm helper and family member extraordinaire! Love of swimming on hot days, family and watching movies highly desired. Stubborn willingness to jump into the deep end and Get It Done.

4 hrs minimum a day including food and board etc (we give our helpers the same lifestyle we have - total immersion! - but when we are busy it means more work).

Minimum 4 week stay.

Woodspring is a cattle farm in Inglewood QLD owned by Ben and Sarah Eisel. We primarily fatten cattle and feed our pigs/sheep/horses by sprouting barley grass in a large cool room. We do this to make some of the yummiest beef ever and try to sell it direct to consumer. We eat it at home too so if you're a beef lover you can't go past it!

We are not organic but we don't use chemicals on the paddocks, only household cleaning products in the sprouting shed. We do use chlorine bleach and you will need work clothes as they might get bleached (we can provide work clothes and boots). ... more inside

I live on a 10 acre property about 8kms from Hervey Bay.
Requiring the help of one to two persons to assist in general tidying of the property such as gardening, weeding, mowing, collecting fallen wood, mulching etc. Whatever needs attention,
I envisage working 4- 5 hours a day in exchange for accommodation & simple meals. I am a vegetarian though I am happy to include a few meat meals.
You may want to do the tourist thing while you are in the area so I am open to negotiation as to the hours of work & time frames.
You will need to be enthusiastic and a non smoker. This may suit a person with their own travelling accommodation such as a caravan or there is a room available with a double bed.
You would be more self sufficient if you have your own transport however a drop off in town could be arranged.

I have a lovely one bedroom tropical cabin with a building for helpers. The outlook is beautiful with distant ocean views surrounded by Australian bush and gardens. I have 2 goats, 2 pigs, 2 dogs, 8 chooks, 4 ducks and some fish.

I am establishing a food forest using permaculture principles. The spare room needs renovations finished (your room). Plenty of projects on the go between animal needs and gardening and weed control.

Outdoor living in the tropics.

We live in the Granite Belt region of South East Queensland where it gets very cold during the winter months.

We are close to Girraween NP, Bald Rock NP, Boonoo Boonoo NP, and Sundown NP. Stanthorpe and its surrounds boasts over 50 wineries, a Lavendar farm and many orchards, a couple of strawberry farms and vegetable farms.

We run a cattle and sheep farm with the usual farm animals - horses, chickens and 2 cats.

We appreciate help with feeding the animals, cooking, general house cleaning and farm work, splitting wood, shed cleaning and weeding and planting gardens.

Keith and I both enjoy a good laugh and learning about other countries and cultures.

Your own car would be an advantage, however, buses pass through Stanthorpe regularly and we can pick you up from the bus station in Stanthorpe. CRISPS Buses depart from the Brisbane Transit Centre - Roma Street, Brisbane at 10.55am Monday to Thursday and arrive in Stanthorpe at 2.20pm.

We look forward to hearin... more inside

Starting asap we really need helpers for next month. We have an open day to prepare for and lots of jobs to catch up on since i have had knee surgery last month.
Single or couple welcome.

Prefer applicants with some experience in outdoor work who are happy to use work hard but not necessary if you think you are happy to pitch in. No heavy labour but it will involve cleaning sheds and pens so shovel, wheelbarrow, brooms etc.
Same as written below, we expect 4-5 hours a day for 5 days out of 7 so you can still take some time out to explore and enjoy the area!

We live in a very scenic part of South East QLD 45m min from beaches, under an hour to Brisbane CBD and 15 minutes from nearest train station.
Our property is a busy 40 acre small farm running beef cattle and a Heritage poultry business.

Helpers would be living in with our family in a very comfortable fully airconditioned home, sharing meal and being included as part of a family. We can accommodate singles or coupl... more inside

Hi everybody!

Our house is located west of Brisbane (2hours by bus) in Warwick in beautiful Queensland.
I have some Polocrosse horses that need to be trained and ridden. They are all quiet and have been used in playing polocrosse. When we are out of polocrosse season we need to do any breaking in of young horses as well as continue training other young ones that were broken in last off season.
Require someone who would like to have a horse supplied to play polocrosse for the next season April - September
(2018) or anyone who can ride and train dressage horses.

I am an equine dentist and will show you how to do horses teeth if you are interested.
Iím looking for helpers for the horses but also someone for general work on the property. The work is varied depending on our needs when you're here and your skills and experience.

The property you would live in is only 10 minutes from the centre of town and a car is available if you have a licence. Accommodation is your bed... more inside
