We are living in a large house next to Toulouse (10 mn by car). We have got 4 children living now in their own home.
My husband is an engineer, I am staying at home for the moment.
We need help to refresh a recently bought house in Toulouse (steaming off the old wallpapers, painting, cleaning....) 3,5 days per week.
You can spend the left half of the week visiting the surroundings (very attractive as the city of Carcassonne 100 km away) including the week-ends with us in our pretty house in the Pyrenees, providing superb views of the mountains with possibilities of skiing, hiking in the snow....
We provide a private bedroom a shared bathroom and you feel free to share our meals.
We would like a stay for a couple for 2 weeks, native english spoken and non smoking.

Hello,

We are Cyrille and Jutta and with our little dog, Ficelle, we are looking for helpers to help us on our little place, in Rouède.

I (Cyrille) lived 6 years in Canada and I took one year off when I turned 40 and went to discover this beautiful planet a bit....
I did a bit of woofing in Nepal, India, Thailand, Ecuador and Peru. Very interesting expériences.
And now it's my turn to host some people at home.... :)

Jutta had spent over 30 years in Berlin, and now she is in the point to settle down in Rouède.

We have a vegetable garden, some fruits trees, 16 chickens, a pond with frogs and fishs and a lot of bamboos.
We have some aromatic and medicinal plants.
We are surrounded by cows and prairies.
We are nestling in the foothills of the Pyrénées, 15km from Saint-Gaudens, 80km from Toulouse, and 7km from Aspet, the beginning of the mountains.

I work in Toulouse from mondays to wednesdays, so I will be away from the house from 6am to 7pm during those 3 ... more inside

Simon and Sylvie live in a suburban house in the suburbs of Toulouse, with a small garden.

UPDATE Feb 2018: We have a full house again as both our children are back living with us! So we cannot accept any helpers until the summer (August probably). So it is pointless to even ask us if you can stay before then: we just don't have the room!

In exchange for 4 hours a day doing these tasks we shall put you up and feed you with good French cuisine.

In August we have plans for a lot of painting work. We can put helpers up in the attic apartment - an independent flat designed, constructed and decorated by helpers past.

There is a lot to see in Toulouse and we're only a few minutes from the nearest metro station into town and a nice municipal swimming pool. Helpers often find that a week in a big French city is welcome relief after weeks out in the sticks with no night-life, cafés or young people around. Toulouse has all this ... and more!

Franco-Irish family - Simon an... more inside

We are Chris and Mike and, following many years of holidays in the Gers, in South West France, we moved here on a permanent basis a year ago, in September 2016. Our home is a Gascony Chateau - part of which dates back to the 14th century - which has a large barn, gite, out buildings, swimming pool and over 5 hectares of land. We run a chambres d'hotes and rent out the gite for self catering. We share our home with a large, friendly, Labradoodle called Hugo! Whilst he is very sociable, we are not able to take anyone travelling with a pet.

Our house is located in a rural setting on the edge of a very small hamlet, 5 kms from a small market town with bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc and 24 kms from the departmental capital, Auch. Toulouse (accessible by train from Auch) is 1.5 hours by car, the Pyrenees and Bordeaux approximately 2 hours drive.

Whilst we have numerous indoor and outdoor projects one of our plans is to make our woodland more accessible to guests and visitors. W... more inside

We are Jan and Mary, a friendly Dutch couple, who are currently making their dream come true… we recently became the proud owners of our very own authentic 17th century farm in beautiful Dordogne, France. Our next step is to turn the old farm into a vacation rental. Actually the previous owners already did that, but we want to give the place our own personal touch.

The accommodation and property is a combination of both our names. Once we have received the keys to the property, mid February, there lies quite the work that needs to be done ahead of us. Especially when we aim at welcoming our first guests before the summer starts! And this is where we could use an extra pair of hands, in which we offer a very comfortable stay, an inspiring environment and - who knows - a new friendship in return.

To share our enthusiasm and hopefully to welcome you as our 'new friends, we want to inspire you with a brief description of the story behind our property, former farmhouse and what y... more inside
