Thank you. No help needed at the moment.
We need helpers: Mature. Independent. Own transport. Hope you like cats. Sharing our home with us.
Helpers need to understand that we host B&B guests in the groundfloor storey of the house which means that we have to be fairly mindful of being quiet when the guests are in as we live on the top storey.

We need help with planting indigenous grasses, shrubs and trees, cleaning up along the stream after recent floods, lawnmowing, collecting firewood, raking leaves, developing our vege garden. Maybe cooking and helping with our B&B such as cleaning, cleaning windows and preparing for new guests.

The Farmstay is a 10 hectare (25acre) property, just outside Rotorua, with approximately 500 meters of a major stream running through it. It is a beautiful property, with lots of native trees, a stand of pine and the rest in paddocks, grazed by the neighbour's cattle. A guitar and piano available!
Access to town is approximately 15 minutes b... more inside

Kia ora,

Reasonably chilled out easy going people, enjoy a chat and a glass of wine over a home cooked farm dinner, watching the all blacks around the fire.

We have 17 horses with 5 currently in work for the races.

We would like help with gardening, window cleaning, and a little bit of equine work like brushing and general stable work. Feeding out.

Anyone who likes cooking is most welcome (we have a huge kitchen).

We are located 40 minutes to Mt Maunganui, 2hrs 30 to the closest snow field. 2hrs 30 to Auckland airport, 20 minutes easy drive to Rotorua City, the redwoods and adventure tourism. Rafting and river activities very close too.

We would prefer helpers who love the outdoors.

Helpers would have their own room with a double bed and ensuite, we can include extra beds and there is also an additional room spare. All are connected to the garage that separates you from the house.

Good hearty country meals provided, fresh farm eggs (when laying) and home kil... more inside

Hey, come and see us, Meg and I are a young couple (in our sixties), our three daughters have now all left home and are living their own independent lives. We love to have young people around. We will make sure to spend some time with you as we enjoy helping with English, while still leaving you plenty of time to yourselves.

The jobs will not be too hard and will give you time to explore the area and enjoy the fabulous Ohope beach and surrounds. Our home is on a lovely quiet rural property with a stunning view of Ohiwa Estuary, less than 10mins from Ohope (in the beautiful Eastern Bay of Plenty) and Whakatane (popular for trips to White Island) is also only 15mins away. We are also well placed for a stop on the way to East Cape (first place in the world to greet the sun each day) or for those heading to or from Opotiki or Gisborne.

(Note. Our previous references were for our house in Taupo, we have now moved to this property near Ohope.)

We're a bit busy with work at the moment and don't have specific projects on the go, but would consider hosting a lovely person to help with cleaning/gardening/weeding type work.

We are a couple of empty-nesters in the final stages of finishing a new house and garden project. Having lived overseas, travelled widely and adventurously, we raised our family in Auckland and decided to settle in the Bay of Plenty after returning to NZ a few years ago.

Youll find we are open-minded, creative and fun loving. We have a critical mind, an interest in many subjects and appreciate good conversation, artisan food and a wide range of musical genres (literally from opera to drum n bass). As an international couple - Peter is NZ born, Sylvia is originally from Austria - we love the opportunity for cultural exchange.
Our young dog is a delightful part of the household.

We eat wholesome food, much of which is lovingly made from scratch including all our sourdough bread. We love seafood ... more inside
