We are a mature couple working from home and are looking to find a young & enthusiastic young man who can help with general garden maintenance, eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc.
In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom in our lovely home and meals.( Free wi fi is also available.)
We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, but only 3km from the main highway and station.
It would be an advantage to have an international driver's licence and a MUST to be a dog lover! (We have 2 !)
This would be an excellent opportunity for a traveller requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer.
We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only.
This position is available immediately, so please contact us if you feel it suits you.

Looking for helpers for our small dairy farm, which is located 15 minutes from the Great Ocean Rd and the 12 Apostles in Victoria. Our farm is surrounded on 3 sides by native forest, so we have many native animals to see. We also have working dogs, cows and calves..

We offer short and long term stays in a 3 bedroom home which is only a short walk to the main home, the home is fully furnished with WiFi and meals included. For the right people we have a vehicle available for transport to explore the area.

We are looking for helpers to join our family and help with gardening and cleaning , including some general farm work, with flexible hours to enjoy the sites and tourist attractions in our area. We are willing to train people so that as they travel around they have the experience for further farm opportunities.

We are a family that enjoys the company of overseas travelers and we love hearing their stories and getting to know and understand different cultures.

We are an English speaking married couple who have been married for 47 years and have retired in sunny Mallacoota.
The photos below are the view from our front veranda. We have spectacular sunrises in the mornings.
We live in a neat and tidy home overlooking the beautiful Mallacoota lake. With the lake and ocean so close you can swim, surf, fish, take a slow walk or a longer hike. Local sports include bowls, golf, badminton, soccer, tennis and cricket.
Our home is within walking distance to town. Mallacoota is right within the Croajingalong National park, is on the east coast of Victoria and half way between Sydney and Melbourne. There is public transport between Melbourne and Batemans Bay and we are on this route. If you get off the main bus route at Genoa there is a local Mallacoota bus which will meet you there on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays (at 9.00am coming from Batemans bay and 2.30pm from Melbourne) and this will bring you to our town bus stop where we will meet you.... more inside

We live in Mallacoota, on the south east coast and one of the most beautiful places in Australia. It is a World Biosphere Reserve in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park with the ocean, lakes and beaches at our doorstep. We are 3kms from the centre of town, and 4km from the nearest beach. There are about 7 magnificent beaches within 10kms from us. BUT be warned, Mallacoota is 540kms from Melbourne, 630kms from Sydney and 360kms from Canberra with limited access via public transport so keep that in mind when planning your schedule.

Our family includes Mark, Cate and our three daughters, who are 15, 13 & 10 years old. There are also a dog, a cat, a horse, 3 ducks, a rooster and 14 chickens (we sell the eggs locally). Kangaroos visit our property daily. Some of the parrots are now so tame at our bird feeder they can be hand fed.

Our 3.5-hectare property needs tidying, cleaning, and minor repairs. Work includes animal care, gardening, and helping with household chore... more inside

Hi, we are Ana (French-Venezuelan) and Padraig (Irish) a couple with 2 young kids (2 and 4 y/o). We live in the beautiful suburb of Eltham (45 min by train to the city). Green and lush, living in Eltham is almost like living in the country yet within comfortable commuting distance of the City. We are only 5 min walk from train station. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops locally in the town and again all accessible by walking distance. We live in a 3 bedroom house, the kids share one bedroom so you can have one bedroom for yourself. We have 2 old bikes that are in great working order available if you want to use them, there are beautiful tracks to explore in the area and also you could go to the city riding if you are adventurous.

We are looking for a single person who could come and help around the house with house work in general, cooking, gardening, cleaning, organising and helping with the kids. I am vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free, my husband Padraig eats ev... more inside

Welcome HelpX Travellers!!!

I am a nurse living on my own 8 ac property at Lal Lal near Ballarat. I train and compete horses for Eventing. I am always busy working, riding, coaching and competing and would love some help around the place and also appreciate the company!!

I am an easy going, fun loving person who enjoys meeting new people. I have a very friendly little dog and a giant orange cat who you cant help but like! I have 4 horses on the property at the moment and I'm also involved in breeding and breaking horses in conjunction with my family in Tasmania.

I have previously lived in lots of share houses as a student and am easy to live with, pretty good cook (I love my food) and keep the house clean and tidy!

The house is a cute little 2 bedroom cottage with wifi. The spare room has a double bed so I am happy to take singles or couples. The property is 20 mins from Ballarat, 75mins from Melbourne and 45 mins from Geelong with a bus service 150m from the gate. I... more inside

We are an art-orientated happily retired and non-smoking couple, living on a 5 acres country/bush property in the township of Macedon. Macedon is located about 65km from Melbourne amid the picturesque hills of the Macedon Ranges and nearby Wineries. Prior to retirement we Jeanette was a retail manager and Alex was an academic, lecturing in Photography at the RMIT University in Melbourne for the past 30 years. We have travelled extensively overseas mainly in USA and Europe and have for the past 20 years conducted Art/Photography tours to Paris France.
See website: www.parisimpressioniststour.com

In Macedon, we are in the heart of the tourist region close to 'Hanging Rock' Reserve (a distinctive geological formation), Daylesford (Mineral Springs regional town) and the historical 1850s gold rush-mining towns of Bendigo and Ballarat.

Our property is located only 5 minutes by car from the Macedon township and local country train station. You can catch a train into Melbourn... more inside
