CURRENTLY HAVE HELPERS SO WE WON'T BE ACCEPTING HELPERS UNTIL AUGUST
Hi guys, we are an easy going couple in our early thirties, we used to be backpackers/helpXers ourselves and now weíve settled in beautiful Darwin. We live in a beautiful 3-bedroom house in the Northern suburbs, 2 min drive from the nicest beaches in Darwin with great fishing opportunities (fishing rods available). We live about 5 min away from a large shopping centre and a free swimming pool/waterpark and the CBD is about 15 min drive. Plenty of free tennis courts in the area and we have rackets and tennis balls available.

We have a beautiful dog called Mango who means the world to us, she is great with all people and loves attention. We also have 2 spare bicycles available if you havenít got your own car and the bus stop is only 2 min walk and can take you anywhere in Darwin for 3 dollars. Helpers will have their own bedroom with a double bed with aircon and ceiling fan and private bathroom with shower next... more inside

++++Sorry, no vacancy at the moment!++++

I'll be looking ONLY for a couple or two friends (There is not much around except nature and wildlife, so it could get boring for one person :-) to work on the property, gardening, help lift heavy stuff around. Also some house cleaning and building projects to finish.

I live ~80km outside of Darwin, close to Batchelor and Litchfield national park, so working hours can be flexible and arranged to fit in with your sightseeing needs.

I'll be looking at 4-5 hours of work per person per day in exchange for food and accommodation.
In case you don't have a car I'm happy to pick you up but please be aware that there is no public transport near my property and due to my work I won't always be able to drive you around. It would also be great if you can cook so we can share the cooking as I will come home late some days.

Any other questions or comments can be discussed preferably via email or whatsapp. Cheers Belinda

Hello and welcome to Darwin!
We are offering accommodation (one bedroom) in exchange for home help, and we anticipate our current helpers moving on around the weekend of 9-10 June. We live in a lovely elevated home in a great suburb, and would like to share the experience with the right people in exchange for help in the house, garden, pool and some ongoing renovations. We are a happy and energetic family of four (our kids are 19 and 14) and while we all have very busy schedules, we also like to help our guests experience all the best that Darwin has to offer. We have welcomed travellers a number of times before, and it has been great for everyone. We expect three hours of work per day per person. This does not include meals, although you will have full use of our open plan kitchen and your own fridge. Our home is in a great spot, walking distance to beach, markets, cafes, supermarket, library and public transport. We have a large tropical garden and pool, and you will also have a... more inside

We are a young family who live 1hr 45 minutes south of Darwin on a 150 Ha wilderness block about 30km south of Adelaide River township. There is a near permanent creek running through our block with numerous swimming holes, valleys, hills and escarpments.
Wrigley Creek is about 15 minutes drive from the spectacular Robin Falls and 20 minutes from the local hot springs. Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks are just over an hourís drive away.

We are about to have a second baby and are looking for someone to help with a range of activities, including childcare of our 16 month old. We prefer someone to stay with us for a period of approximately 3 months, subject to a trial period.

At home we are working to conserve and restore the high quality ecological values of this block. On the land activities include permaculture, ecological restoration, home and garden maintenance.

Our living areas are surrounded by tropical permaculture food gardens and a crocodile-free dam with wate... more inside
