We have 7 rooms (with bathroom and balcony)that we rent. The rooms for our helpers are most of time with their own bathroom. We are looking for someone to help out in exchange for a bed (and moslty we provide food). We prefer that you stay for at least two weeks (sometimes it is possible to stay less).
In May we can take 2 helpers or even more, but from June through October, we can take only one person.

Generally, the work includes helping with cleaning and preparing the season (if you come in May),washing the dishes, etc. We can agree on your free days or free time to explore the island.

Our helpers can also use our kitchen for cooking if they wish. We have free Wi-Fi broadband connection. There is also a washing machine you can use to wash your clothes.

We are well known for providing a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. If you want to be a part of it, please contact us and let us know:

Banjole, small seaside village near Pula/Istria.

I would need help twice a year, one week in December and one week in March/April, working my recently planted olive yard of 65 trees: cutting grass, digging, wrapping up the trees before the winter; Plus cutting wood, gardening and little practical jobs around the house.

Happy to welcome a couple. Can offer one double room and food. My house is just about 80m from the beach, not far from the famous archipel of Kamenjak, one of Croatia's most visited natural reserves, and Pula, historic city with lots to see and visit.

Working hours are flexible and depend a lot on the weather.

Please contact me for more detailed information or discuss.

Hi, I'm doing some works on the apartment i live in, and could use a helping hand of a handy traveler who is willing to help with some furniture- build a wooden bed, shelves, bench, repaint some doors, help with practical solutions.. all low budget and recycled materials.. in return for accommodation and healthy meals. A dog and a cat live in the apartment and other pets are welcomed. Write about yourself and ask all you want to know. Thank you

In front of us is a new season of harvest salt in Ston and this year we organized a lot of surprises. The beginning of the harvest salt is anticipated in the middle of July to September . Every day we get out salt from one pool. One pool produces 30 to 100t salt and everything is done by manual work. We work every day except Sunday.

For harvest we insured suitably clothes, hats, t-shirts, and pants. The beginning of the gathering starts every morning at six o clock. The break is from 9 to 9.30h with lunch and refreshing beverages and after the break we continue the work in the pool. The gathering can be finish by 11h but it can last till 12. It all depends about the person who gathers salt. After the gathering the workers get refreshing beverages. In free time there are a lot of activities valley ball on the salt, swimming in Ston, Prapratno , Broce and Mali Ston. Free accommodation for all workers is in private rooms of Solana Ston.
