My property is set in the foothills of the Barrington National Park. My focus is on conserving native vegetation for wildlife. There is an abundance of wildlife around the area.
Help is need primarily with weed control and bush regeneration tasks. This involves weeding, planting and landscaping. There is a vegetable garden which requires maintaining.
Accommodation is in a separate self contained strawbale cottage.
The area is accessible from Sydney by train to Dungog.

NOTE. We require helpers to stay for 2 weeks or more.

We have positions available after early May. Please write for detailed dates.

We can easily accommodate one person or two (either a couple or two single friends). Helpers must be 18 or older - and we do not take children travelling with families.

We are a semi retired couple growing Australian plants for cut flowers on 5 acres of the 50 acres as a long term serious hobby. There are always projects underway including plant propagation, building and construction, equipment and farm maintenance, flower picking, animal husbandry and general gardening (vegetables, orchard and ornamental over several acres). The property is secluded and 30 minutes drive from the nearest reailway station.

The house has formal guest accommodation with its own bathroom and there is access to wifi internet. Only Mobile phones that are with TELSTRA are likely to have reception in the house.

Experience farm life in Australia on our beautiful small farm in the Central West of NSW, 12 km from the town of Grenfell. We take people any time. Horse riders are especially welcome.

We can host one person, two friends or a couple. If you are motivated, fun, honest, hard working, love animals and happy to help when needed, we would love to hear from you.

We have 6 horses, a foal, 45 beef cattle (a bull, 3 steers, 21 cows and 20 calves), 6 pet sheep and 5 lambs, 2 dogs, a duck, 4 guinea fowl and chickens. All the animals are generally friendly and well-behaved.

Work varies from gardening to mending fences, feeding and caring for horses, dogs and poultry to mustering cattle on 4-wheel bikes. We like people to feel safe and to work safely.

Our big brick homestead was built in 1917 and sits on a hill overlooking a picturesque valley, among other farms growing wheat, canola, sheep and beef cattle. You will see lots of birds, kangaroos, wallabies and stars. The nearest neigh... more inside

Hi we are a family of 5 that lives on 7 acres that backs onto The Blue Mountains National Park west of Sydney.

Due to the busy lives we lead we need some help with cooking, house cleaning, home work/guitar practice. and management of the property. e.g. lawn mowing, tree lopping, wood cutting, moving wood etc..

We are very strong conservationists and live a healthy low impact life. We would welcome those that share those principles and are wiling to work hard. We are a non smoking house.

We have two spare beds and a large grass area for a tent for shortish stays.

Our house is 1.2km from shops and cafes and 800mts from the train station. Glenbrook is 65 minutes on the train from Central Station in Sydney.

We are happy to cater for vegetarians, but not for vegans. Vegans are welcome but would need to prepare their own meal.

For four hours a day work we will provide three meals a day and access to Wifi. However we have limited wifi so cannot down load large movies etc... more inside

Hello!
We are a couple with a large house with a big garden and pool in Canberra. We have my husband's 2 boys staying with us 3 days a week. We also have 2 gorgeous big dogs. You would have your own room with internet and use of pool. We would feed you but if you can cook, this would be a HUGE help for us, as we are always in a rush in the evenings when we come home.
We also always have chores to do around the house including general housework, vacuuming (one of our dog loses a lot of hair and one dog brings a lot of wood chips inside), and general cleaning, window cleaning, cupboard organising etc. Our house needs a good spring clean at the moment!
My husband moved to Australia from Scotland and I am a French teacher but I've also lived in Germany. We work long hours and find we spend too much of our spare time cleaning or doing work in the garden, so we'd love to get some help with general house maintenance. We are happy to share our home and would prefer to host a couple. O... more inside

We have a property which we are in the process of landscaping and would appreciate some help as our usual helpers (our kids) have left home! We seek Helpers with experience using gardening tools and equipment. The work entails some transplanting and establishing new garden beds. We have three small sheds which we would like help to demolish. Previous Helpers have found the work enjoyable. We have a comfortable home and helpers have their own room and bathroom. Helpers enjoy the meals also. We are situated 40 minutes from Newcastle and 30 minutes from surf beaches. 10 minutes north is beautiful Lemon Tree Passage. Oakvale Farm which is a local tourist attraction where you can get up close to koalas and kangaroos is 4.22Km along our road. Dune buggy rides, camel and horse riding along the beach are all close by. There is much to see in our area of the Port Stephens and in the adjacent Hunter River region: vineyards, surfing, bush walking and water sports to name but a few. We share ou... more inside

The nearly 100 year old iconic Coodravale Homestead is set in the beautiful and tranquil Wee Jasper valley about 1 hour North of Canberra. The property, once home to A.B.
