looking for one or two people to help in the garden for a week or two in June, july , Painting, mowing, strimming, weeding and generally working in the garden and general maintenance. the work is always varied . Must be willing to work on your own at times. Our farm is on a peninsula in west cork, it has woodland, the sea, a mixture of land and is in a stunning location with views of the sea all around. We have three dogs and chickens. The village is three miles away, there are bicycles and kayaks to borrow. Saturdays we visit the local farmers market. The accommodation is a twin or double bedded room with bathroom and sometimes there is a cottage available, there is wifi access. People share meals and help with cooking, washing etc.,

Our house is from the 1800’s and situated on 5 acres of land (which comprises of a large garden and field / shed area). When we moved into the house it was with a view to enjoy it, renovate it and develop a garden for humans and wild life. Most of which has been accomplished, however due to a cancer battle (which I humbly won) we have slipped behind on our project and trying to claw back time and make headways into the next phase of our garden project.

We are based off a quiet country road, down a long arched lane. As you arrive to the house you will witness tree’s ranging from 100 to 300yrs. Our closest neighbours are 1km away to either side of the house. We are surrounded by fields of wheat and barley.

The location of home is on the border of Co. Offaly and Co. Tipperary, we are 16km from the towns of Roscrea and Nenagh.
Who are we?

I am Maggie 51yrs and I am married to a French chap called Stephane (Steph) 48yrs we have 3 dogs (great guys) Ty, Rocks and Bobby who are ... more inside

I live in a small cabin surrounded by trees close to the sea.

I need help with the garden and setting up a small hydroponic system. I also need some general work done moving wood and sorting the house out. I have limited mobility but I have a car and I'm a keen cyclist.

I hope to get some geese in the next few days and need to fence for them. Visitors can stay in the house or a small caravan in the garden. You can choose...

Castletownbere is a short walk away and the meditation centre 8km.

No more vacancies this year!!

We are a Belgian couple, who lived in Ireland, France, Belgium and now in Ireland again, and we've been hosts for wwoof and helpx for many years on and off.
In 2013 we bought a house and some land right beside the Sneem estuary, obviously surrounded by stunning landscapes and sea views. The land is rough and a large part can stay just that. But we also do like to refine some of it into gardens (cottage garden, vegetables, orchard and woodland. We've made a start with some projects, but there is a continuous need for more.
In the meantime we've acquired chickens, ducks and pigs. A small farm has been born.

We could do with motivated HelpX-ers to get us settled into the landscape. With motivated, we mean seeing things that need doing, not doing jobs in a rush just to finish for the sake of it, being able to work on your own from time to time.
COUPLES OR 2 FRIENDS would suit us best.
There might be some hard graft ahead, but there'll be a comf... more inside

Hello! We are John and Valerie, and Sammy and Mojo our dogs. We're at pioneer stage here setting up our smallholding farm, home and nature spaces.

We are maintaining a half acre of blueberries and two polytunnels, growing veggies, improving off-grid power and water, and building a log cabin! If you are interested in green low-cost building then it is a good opportunity for you to come here to learn about wood cabin building.

We are gonna need loooots of help!.. Accommodation is a caravan or we can make you a very cosy nest in a large tent with lots of bedding - mattress, duvet/blankets, pillows etc. There's lots of wood for the campfire, a hangout space and shower in the polytunnel.

We're not far from the coast here about 8km to beaches and Rosscarbery, we've a small village nearby and we're about halfway between Clonakilty and Skibbereen towns.

We've lots going on here but are easy-going too! We're surrounded by the beautiful West Cork countryside, with hills to w... more inside
