Hello, I am looking for a couple or female/s to paint my house, undetake some carpentry and gardening work. My daughter, aged 18,, and I live in a fairly quiet area about an hour away from Melbourne city. My sons aged 22, and 20, live close by. There is often work nearby on one of the many plant nurseries in Monbulk. I live walking distance to public transport. Ther is the choice of one room with a single bed, and one with a queen size bed. Shared bathroom.
I've had one French girl stay for
three months, in 2016, and enjoyed it so much I thought why not do it again!!! She also did a lot of painting which made me very happy!

Welcome to my quiet but fun 3 acre semi-rural property, 20 minutes' walk to the Hurstbridge train station and town centre. Melbourne city is less than 1 hour by train and the local area features some interesting vineyards, art producers and boutique organic food producers.
As a guest at my place, you will have your own bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and desk, bathroom, and shower. There are musical instruments to play, wifi internet and a lounge room with a tv I rarely use.
I live by myself with my dog and there are often friends popping in and hanging out socially. I love cooking and have a great kitchen so welcome the opportunity to learn new cooking styles and will provide ingredients to facilitate this.
I would prefer guests to be 25 years or more.
The property has a big shed and workshop to play in for those inclined. In return I have 4 hours / day (which I'm happy to compress to allow free days) of simple house renovation tasks like painting, gardening and property m... more inside

We live on hill property with stunning views in north central Victoria. We'd like helpers to assist with finishing off our mudbrick house and to help in the garden and paddocks. We have young horses and a small herd of breeding cattle. Cheerful, sociable and energetic, we also need some extra help with moving rocks and building a retaining wall. We cut and stack firewood, tidy paddocks, check fencing, work horses and maintain the garden. We love travellers who are cheerful and adaptable and who don't mind cooking to help out! We ask for four hours' help per day in exchange for breakfast, dinner and accomm but we're flexible. We like musicians! Other residents are two dogs and two cats and helper accomm is in two double bedrooms. We are 7 car minutes from a small country town with lots of cafes, pubs and a library as well as a rail trail for walking, bikes and horses. It's less than an hour to Lake Eildon for boats and fishing plus the Goulburn River is 5 mins away. One and a half ho... more inside

We are a non-profit, volunteer-operated centre, where the retreats are facilitated by the enthusiastic work of people dedicated to making each visit a success.

We welcome volunteers in a variety of areas and aim to place you in a role that utilises your strengths and stimulates your interest. Because we run both a retreat centre and organic garden, volunteer positions are available in every aspect of service, from helping hands in the kitchen to working in the garden.
