Hello helpers!

We live in a house constructed around 1930, in a town inside the famous wine area in catalonia. The house and the town have a lot of charm and we are almost at the base of a very beautifull mountain area for treking, just minutes walking distance. We are a group of people living together and some of as are working with crafts and alternative medicines. We normally have people around and a little dog we love also as a companion.

We need a person whom have various skills as painting, electricity and others so he/she would help with remodeling the house.

We ofer a slepping area inside a little chill out space, internet, meals and a nice enviroment.

We would need a persone for a period of 1 or two months and that would begin around April/May.

We are looking forward to know about you.

We are actively looking for volunteers!

Center for sustainable agriculture and technology in Mallorca.

Family owned former tile factory in an agricultural setting. Because of market shifts we decided to stop tile manufacturing and to use the premises for organic farming.
As a result, the premises are equipped both for manufacturing (a well equipped workshop, large working areas, etc) and for agricultural production, in particular organic horticulture.
Transition to organic farming started in 2005 with the request to convert 25 ha for certified ecological agriculture, which was granted in Oct 2007.
In parallel the buildings formerly occupied by the tile factory were converted for other use and an additional 3500 square meters of polytunnels were constructed. A 16 m3 cooling chamber and a large kitchen were installed, as well as a large dinning hall and bathrooms.
Sometimes we host social and promotional events like tasting of ecological agricultural products, or event... more inside

We have created a Mediterranean mountain garden here in the Alpujarras of Granada province, southern Spain. As an officially registered not for profit organisation we open the garden to visitors on a regular basis. There are just the two of us here (Robert and William, mid 50's) full time, working on this project along with running a successful self catering holiday home business. The help we need from you is mainly with the garden and can encompass a wide range of tasks, from weeding, and composting to cultivation of our vegetable garden. Building work is sometimes required but not always. The work can be physically demanding.

Two week placements are offered initially. Volunteers will stay in our house in a comfortable room that has two single beds and its own bathroom, under floor heating during cold weather. No smokers only please. Wi-fi available. All meals and accommodation provided in exchange for 6 hours work per day, 5 days a week, but some flexibility may be necess... more inside

English version below:

Hello!! My name is Rosana and I am a young woman with a big project in mind that I want to start.
THE WORK: My dream is to be self sufficient and the first thing I want to do in the field is some fencing because at the moment there are some cows going some days and then start planting things that take some time to grew like fruit trees. Also I would need to dig some ditches so the water could go easier to the roots. Another idea is to build a place to make fire digging a hole and putting bricks (I had seen that idea in Wales and I just love it) and once we build it we could make some banches and go to look for wood.
I am new in that life so new ideas are more that welcome.
I cannot ask for a number of hours because I don't know, we will see in the day to day. But the work will be mostly in the weekends because I work in a school farm during the week until 6pm so there is not so much to do in the house just watering the plants and cleaning the porch. And then when I am at home s... more inside
