Kia ora,

Reasonably chilled out easy going people, enjoy a chat and a glass of wine over a home cooked farm dinner, watching the all blacks around the fire.

We have 17 horses with 5 currently in work for the races.

We would like help with gardening, window cleaning, and a little bit of equine work like brushing and general stable work. Feeding out.

Anyone who likes cooking is most welcome (we have a huge kitchen).

We are located 40 minutes to Mt Maunganui, 2hrs 30 to the closest snow field. 2hrs 30 to Auckland airport, 20 minutes easy drive to Rotorua City, the redwoods and adventure tourism. Rafting and river activities very close too.

We would prefer helpers who love the outdoors.

Helpers would have their own room with a double bed and ensuite, we can include extra beds and there is also an additional room spare. All are connected to the garage that separates you from the house.

Good hearty country meals provided, fresh farm eggs (when laying) and home kil... more inside

We're a bit busy with work at the moment and don't have specific projects on the go, but would consider hosting a lovely person to help with cleaning/gardening/weeding type work.

We are a couple of empty-nesters in the final stages of finishing a new house and garden project. Having lived overseas, travelled widely and adventurously, we raised our family in Auckland and decided to settle in the Bay of Plenty after returning to NZ a few years ago.

Youíll find we are open-minded, creative and fun loving. We have a critical mind, an interest in many subjects and appreciate good conversation, artisan food and a wide range of musical genres (literally from opera to drum Ďn bass). As an international couple - Peter is NZ born, Sylvia is originally from Austria - we love the opportunity for cultural exchange.
Our young dog is a delightful part of the household.

We eat wholesome food, much of which is lovingly made from scratch including all our sourdough bread. We love seafood ... more inside

A cute, four acre organic farmlet with a multi-generational family unit (ages 1 -70yrs) occupying our new property lifestyle which features chickens, sheep, cows, loads of veges, bush walks and waterfalls! Requiring an extra set of hand(s) to help clear scrub and plant natives to help protect our nearby streams and waterfalls that border the property. Also setting up our small orchard.

The set up is one large dwelling, with one family (mum, dad, two kids) occupying one part of the house, and Nannie and Poppa occupying the other end. We have set up our (mainly) solar powered lifestyle from scratch, built in 2016, and aim to be off the grid and mostly self-sustainable by 2022.

Our home is myself and my two amazing children (16 and 11 years old)two dogs and one ferocious cat named Christmas Pudding, four chickens and a big garden so I am always happy to get some help.We have a good sense of humor and like to share our kiwi culture. The area is great for cycling, hiking, fishing and hunting. I will supply great food and company and a lot of local knowledge of the beautiful places to visit in our close proximity, in return for 4-6 hours of help per day. I prefer helpers who have a car but I can pick up in Murupara if necessary. There is a bus from Rotorua to Murupara 3 times a week. Our home is very peaceful in Galatea valley with outstanding views of the bordering mountain range, about 10 minutes drive from Murupara. We have WI-fi.
MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH and enjoy the same food as we do.
I will only host for a maximum 10 days, could be shorter too depending on help needed at time.
I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.

Love Boatlife???

We are a young german family who love the sea and our boat. We are looking for someone to help us get the boat ready for another offshore season (Fiji & Vanuatu) and possibly someone who might be capable of sailing the passage to Fiji with us!!?!

In summer we are on land to earn some much needed cash, but now we are winding down in order to move back onto our boat, a 46ft sailing yacht. With three young kids (7yrs, 5yrs and 3yrs) we need you to enjoy their company, as well as helping us with cooking, cleaning, boat repairs and other random jobs.

We are a middle aged couple with an adorable 10 month old puppy, living on a lifestyle block growing avocados, we also have some chickens and cows. We could do with some help around the place, and we have a wide enough variety of jobs that we can make the most of your skills.

In addition to meals and wi-fi, we offer a quiet and comfortable room at the end of the house with its own bathroom. If you donít have transport of your own we can take you into town where there are buses. If you do have transport, we are a few minutes drive from Katikati, 18 minutes from Waihi and 10 minutes from Waihi Beach. Further out we have Karangahake gorge, hot pools and many other interesting places.

We don't smoke and we both eat meat, but can leave meat off your plate if you are vegetarian. We always enjoy having young visitors and are looking forward to meeting you! Bill, Jacqui and Mollie the dog.

WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR HELPERS
We live on a lifestyle block where we have a few cattle, an avocado orchard, a area of bush with a stream, and a large garden. We are 20 minutes from downtown Tauranga, 30 minutes to Mount Maunganui, and a 5 minute drive to bush walks in the beautiful Kaimai ranges
All our children have now left home, and we both work in town, so helpers need to have their own transport and be willing to work mostly unsupervised until we return later in the day. Margot works part time so is sometimes at home as well.
We typically would like helpers to do gardening, work in the avocado orchard, housework, lawn mowing, and some maintenance work if you have the skills for it!
We have both travelled extensively over the years and thoroughly enjoy meeting people from other countries.
You will have your own bedroom and bathroom, but we hope you will join with us to be part of our household during your stay. We are looking for helpers who would like to stay ... more inside
