MINIMUM STAY TWO WEEKS! -TWO WEEKS MINIMUM STAY! As our aim is to maintain a mix of nationalities so that everyone has a chance to practice their English. We have up to 4 Helpx at a time.

Interesting Homestay situation. Large 6 bedroom house in the Newcastle suburb of Garden Suburb. Close to the famous Newcastle beaches and Hunter Valley wineries. The beaches are in easy access only about 15 Minutes away. We usually have 3 /4 Helpx - Plus my two of my four sons Zac 25yrs and Asa 23yrs so there is always plenty going on.

We are looking for people who want a working holiday in the beautiful Hunter region of NSW. There is so much variety of things to do that we can generally find a niche for most skill sets. whether it is cooking, gardening, cleaning, painting or carpentry.

If you would like a homely, wondrous Blue Mountains experience, nestled in nature, without being surrounded by tourists, you're welcome to stay with us. You will relax and unwind here, sit in front of the fire in the evenings, drink tea, go on bushwalks, feed the alpacas, and share stories. Then wake to amazing sunrises!

Especially quiet for those that have just come from a Vipassana meditation retreat.

Read the reviews of previous helpers to get an idea for what you will experience here.

We live in a new house on a two acres, next to the Blue Mountains National Park. Amazing bushwalks begin at our home. Walk to Govetts Leap waterfall, Evans Lookout, the Grand Canyon, and Blue Gum Forest (https://youtu.be/GpAYNkuURV0).

We need ENERGETIC help in the garden, mainly splitting firewood and moving big rocks with wheelbarrows to help us building garden beds. There are lots of small jobs, all requiring good strong MUSCLES.

We also need help with BUSH REGENERATION because the... more inside

We live on a beautiful and very peaceful farm in Arcadia which is one hour north of the Sydney CBD. We are at the end of a quiet street and surrounded by national park. There isn't a neighbour in sight! There are lots of beautiful walking and riding trails right outside our gate, yet the shops are just 15 minutes away. Train stations are 30 minutes away so the city and beaches are very accessible.

Our workers and volunteers have free use of a great little Toyota Yaris so they can explore the local area, go shopping, get to the train stations and do lots of fun things on days off. They also have free wifi and I pay for all of their groceries.

I (Amanda) have a horse business. I give lessons and train horses for dressage and show jumping. I also try to go to competitions as often as possible. We usually have between 18 and 25 horses here so it's all pretty busy.

My husband Brett is a builder and he tries to work as locally as possible. He also has a long list of jo... more inside

What is expected of you:
4 easy hours per day, 5 days a week. Days off are flexible. You get 7 days meals, accommodation and transport. Best if you stay at least three weeks. If you book please turn up or notify us if you or not coming. We refuse a lot of HelpXers and find so many of the ones we agree to take are not turning up. We are away from shops and the tourist venues but others live separately on the farm. Unfortunately we get a few weeks of wet weather each year so we mainly stay inside the house and don't do outside work. During the winter months we hosted three groups of Chinese students. They didn't write a review but were happy with their stay.

Farm duties include:
Working with the host on the farm. Jobs are to keep the farm running with cattle, coffee, chickens, nut and fruit trees and home garden. We have old work clothes you can use. This is a large hobby farm not a commercial operation.

We are looking for someone with a good sense of humor and a bucket load of patience to come and give us a helping hand with the final stages of a very big house move.

The family home is being sold and it's all hands on deck to get it finished. There is gardening, mulching, shifting of bricks and stones, cleaning and tidying to be done.

You can expect a private room with mattress or blow up bed, all linen, food and the use of wifi and multiple bathrooms!

My brother in law is running the show and also living at the house, he's organised and great company!

The house is huge, with plenty of beautiful outdoor space for working on personal project!

Someone who is happy to work 3-5 hours 5 days a week. This will be flexible

You must be fun! :)

We are in Byron town on a block with a large garden. We are a family of four. We offer a studio/cabin in the garden with 2 single beds. Work can vary from light house-keeping duties such as cleaning or washing to some gardening/landscaping and house painting. If you can cook even better but not essential. Our place is walking distance to the beach and town centre and there is a great cafe on the corner.

Hello

We are painting a lovely wooden house on a gorgeous property in Chowan Creek near Uki. Amazing views of Wollumbin/Mt Warning and 100 acres of bush to explore. There are resident Goannas, Kookaburras, Pademelons and heaps of birds. Ten minute drive into Uki where there are cafes, shops, pub. We are looking for help to finish painting the house. In exchange of 4 hours work we will provide accomodation and basic food supplies. We are flexible if you want to work more hours one day and less another day. There are plenty of books to read, chairs to sit on and instruments to play plus surfboards to borrow!

Text is best for communication!

Lets paint!
Cheers
Jake
