Set in 16 acres of natural bush with gardens and a tennis court with basketball ring. There are numerous outdoor living areas. With campfires and cooking facilities there is plenty of scope for quiet relaxation.
Nearby township of Noojee has 3 restaurants and several scenic attractions. We are 1.5 hours drive from central Melbourne. There are numerous country businesses, wineries, nurseries and so on nearby.
My wife and I travelled in the past and I have worked and lived in 9 countries so we appreciate cultural exchange and are tolerant easy going people. We had 3 children living here who have all moved on so we have plenty of spare room. We are hoping to have a range of helpers as we are now close to 70 years old, retired and need help keeping the house and gardens in order, weeding, pruning and so on. General maintenance of the buildings and the property generally is also envisaged. Range of power tools and equipment available. Also some new building projects once everything els... more inside

I am looking for someone to stay and assist with some house cleaning as I have just moved into a place and it could use some wall cleaning and some other odd jobs like assisting me to organise the house.

I am a friendly and sensitive person and it would be nice to have a friendly person to assist with this.

I live in a suburb on a beautiful beach side and I am a few hundred metres from Monash University peninsula campus.

Easy to travel to Melbourne city from my place or to the lovely Mornington Peninsular

It is about 7 - 10 days of work for just one person so it is not really ideal or suitable for two people

Looking for a heper now

About us:
We're a couple in our early 30s. After several years in Darwin and 6 months travelling Europe and Asia on our honeymoon, we finally decided to settle down in Melbourne. 7 weeks ago we became the proud parents of the cutest little life-changing alarm clock. We started renovating our place in Melbourne last year but are taking a short hiatus to spend as much time as possible sleeping and getting to know our new little man.

About our place:
Pros:
- We're close to the train and 4 train stops from the city.
- Unlimited internet
- Your own room with a queen bed
- Flexible helping hours

Cons:
- We have a newborn. Unless you're an amazing sleeper or you use earphones, you WILL wake up when he cries. He doesn't cry all night every night, but you will probably wake up at least once every night between 11pm and 7am (sometimes more if he's having a bad night).
- As Dee has to wake 3-5 times to breastfeed overnight, if she's sleeping, be considerate of the noise level in ... more inside

Gardenfarm is a very beautiuful Eden-like farm, designed as a Permaculture ecosystem, with a strong Japanese influence. Its in a glorious valley setting, with animals wandering happily, food forests and rivers, visitor cabins, and lots of thinking and action on how we can make a this world and life wonderful.

I'm looking for self-directing, observant and thoughtful travellers, over 26 years old, to work on creating wonderland.

Work includes carpentry, renovating the cabins, planting a Japanese garden, building a Japanese outdoor bath, designing and creating clever passive watering systems.
If you like, you can also help Farmer Bob look after chickens, sheep, cows, and garden, and turning the produce into wonderful pies, quince paste, and more, for sale.
Non-garden tasks include graphic design, film making and editing, writing magazine articles & helping me to get organised. Its great to do yoga each night, so if you can lead us in some sessions, great.

We provide a perfect opportunity for riders who have established riding ability who desire to apply for a second year visa. As a rule we have about four or five horses being worked daily so there is plenty of work for those who are riders or enjoy working with horses and it provides a great opportunity to improve riding skills.

We have been training and breeding competition horses for over forty years and information about us is available on the web. For those that wish to review that information, Google search for our property name which is Northern Warmblood Stud, or Northern Warmbloods.

The property is approximately two and a half hours from Melbourne, a bus/train serves the local area from Melbourne. We have the full range of farm related duties that helpers can be involved in as well.

If you have further questions feel free to contact us on mobile 0488594000.
