We have been here since Sept 2011.We are aiming to be as self sufficient as possible. We are establishing orchards and vegetable gardens and wish to restore the land to the way it should be in an organic permaculture kind of way.We have hybrid solar power and water tanks. We are a couple one vegan, one vegetarian and the food available reflects that. There is a lot of interesting wildlife here and our 'mob' of wallabies is quite tame. We are keen on bird watching and have created bird friendly gardens with a big variety of birds around. This is a lovely very quiet peaceful place - everyone who comes here loves it! We are 25km from the small town of Wondai northwest of Kingaroy, in the South Burnett, a couple of hours from the coast. We need help watering, weeding, mowing, planting and general maintenance, building and painting skills also very welcome. Accommodation is in house until we restore an old building on the property, and is a queen room. The house is roomy. We have intern... more inside

I live in a lovely little community called Beerwah.

Beerwah has shops, cafes, restaurants and a railway station. I love my town as everything I need is handy but it isnt overcrowded like coastal towns are.

Beerwah is about an hour drive from Brisbane city or a 30 minute drive to Caloundra or Mooloolaba beaches (trains and buses can take you also). Also 30 minutes away are two towns popular to tourists: Maleny and Montville.

Beerwah is near the Glass House Mountains - and I will be happy to show you these as the views from the top are amazing! People of most fitness levels can reach the top.

My little home will provide you with your own double bed, bedside table and a set of drawers for your clothing. Powerpoints to charge your phone or camera are in the room also. I do not have Internet at home - I go to Beerwah library down the road for free internet when I need to.

My focus is outdoor landscaping at the moment. I have a dream to have a little self-sustainable ga... more inside

I'm building an urban farm using permaculture principals. I keep chickens and grow food. I'm adding bees to the mix soon. Come stay with me and help build a small urban agriculture system on the outskirts of Brisbane! I will provide a private room and food in return for animal care, garden help (building and maintenance) and sometimes a little cleaning.

We are both very busy actors and are a bit time poor at the moment.
We have a beautiful and peaceful retreat that is completely secluded and set in a gum tree forrest.
We have a family of koalas and mobs of kangaroos that populate the property along with other wildlife such as Echidnas and Goannas.
The studio available for stays is spectacular!!!
It is set about 100 meters away from the main house and is completely surrounded by bush. It is stunningly designed with a lovely deck overlooking the property and a shower with glass doors that open out directly to the forrest.
There is an outdoor kitchen for any private cooking and a luxurious king size latex bed!!!!
The help we are looking for is to do with property maintenance as we have 5 acres of Bush and we need help with some property maintaining and landscaping and for those that have carpentry/plumbing/tiling skills we could use your help too but we will work with whatever skills you have to offer as there is always som... more inside
