Hey there!

Bit of a unique situation - my Mum and I are back in our cottage in the middle of the countryside in Wiltshire, and it needs quite a few odd jobs to be done over the next month or so. I live in NZ, and she lives in Australia, and our cottage has been rented out for the last 3 years, so now we're getting it ready to go back on the market. So we need handy people who can do this sort of thing.

It would be a short stat, max 3 weeks.

Gardening, painting, general handy work - we'll have a couple of professionals helping out too.

We'd be interested in having a couple, or a single stay and we'd provide board, and food in exchange for 5 hours of work per day, 5 days a week. You would have your own room, if you have a car that would be helpful if you wanted to pop out and around the area.

The summer in England is simply stunning, and there are some great pubs around. I'll also do my best to make some super meals!

Would LOVE either Australians, Kiwis, or SA's... more inside

After a difficult year for the family, we need some help with our day to day running of the house.

Our house is situated at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds with a 10 minute drive to the nearest towns and the seaside. We have a tennis court, an orchard where we have bonfires in summer and a garden filled with flowers.

A day with us will start by letting out the chickens and collecting their eggs, feeding and walking our 3 dogs. After that, a bit of cleaning, gardening or company during paperwork.

8 hours work a day will be flexible and can be discussed on arrival. We can cater for vegetarians and vegans with bit of help. We have spare bicycles which you could borrow to reach the nearest shop and bus stop which are 2 miles away. Smoking and phone use are allowed provided they don't interfere with the task at hand.

We are offering 3 meals a day, accommodation and space in our vegetable patch for you to cultivate in exchange for some help.

We are looking for a pe... more inside

We are looking for a couple or single to stay in a detached cottage in our grounds on a couple of occasions over this summer to assist with gardening. We would be staying in a neighbouring property but will be spending some time away in the UK and Europe so would need dog sitters during those times. The properties are in a beautiful spot in the idyllic Tamar Valley in Cornwall.
With regard to the garden we are really looking for someone to help us develop our 2.5 acre garden.....don't panic, most of it is kept wild (ish) to encourage wildlife but we do have some flower beds and a pond and would love to start a veg patch. We are also trying to follow more of a raw diet so anyone with knowledge of healthy cooking (or non cooking) would be a great help.

Our location is extremely beautiful, quiet and well positioned for exploring Devon and Cornwall, being only 15 minutes drive from Plymouth. For golf and fitness enthusiasts we are only 2 mins drive from the famous St Mellion golf an... more inside

I run a holiday let business and I need help with my business and my dogs while I am away. I have a large home in a beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty. Jobs would be to walk the dogs and help me in my home and meet and greet the guests and help with the general maintenance of the holiday homes.

There is a car provided so a driving licence would be ideal. The business is very interesting as people from all over the world stay in my holiday cottages all year around. My home is very near to a beautiful town with plenty to do.

We are a friendly family of 5 humans, 5 cats 2 dogs, 3 Ferrets,1 duck and 2 chickens. We live in a beautiful part of England called the Eden Valley which is on the edge of the lake district. There is plenty of opportunity for walking and seeing the lake district. We live in a barn conversion which we have been doing up mostly by ourselves. We have a large garden which is still like a field and needs work on for veg etc...and we need help finishing off things in the barn. We know what we want and can guide so great if your semi skilled but we mostly need people with a willingness to learn and to do things like laboring, digging and lighter work, that would be good. We need a lot of of tidying up.
We would also be interested in people teaching our children a language and for them to meet people from different places.
The accommodation is having our room with a double bed.
We irregularly go to Quaker meetings (for your information this is an organisation that has Atheists to Christia... more inside

We are setting up an Ecocentre, converting a former care home to offer day & residential training courses in sustainability, low impact living, bushcraft & much more. We're based in a beautiful site in the North Devon countryside with our own woodlands, wildflower meadows, and much more. But it needs some work! The woods & meadows are overgrown, the house needs thorough decorating & some remedial work outside to make it weather proof. We can offer accommodation in a neighbouring cottage - we have 4 guest bedrooms & two self-contained flats.

The building we are renovating is an historic one. Much of the work is unglamourous & involves working with dust, dirt & mould/mildew. We will supply protective clothing but please do bear this in mind.

NB We do have a current long-term vacancy for someone to assist with childcare, helping us to focus on admin tasks at home while the children have someone to occupy them. Please contact us directly if you are specifically interested in this ... more inside

I have a little pink cottage that needs some work and love and colour, any work is good work!.....we need a veg garden, plastering, painting and ideas. Any talent or trade would be so so welcome.I am really busy in the summer so help would welcome now until mid June.
The pink cottage has a bus stop right outside which can take you to the most beautiful beaches and surf spots in Cornwall. The Camel estuary is a short walk down a steep hill. A great place for kayaking and the Camel trail is used by cyclists from Padstow harbour to Bodmin moor with no hills or cars.
I can offer 1 bedroom, a shared bathroom and use of kitchen, internet,
a relaxed and flexible approach on the subject of hours and meals.

We live in Exeter not far from the city centre.
I'm starting work full time soon and need help with looking after my two young children (boy 13, girl 9).
Lots of free time during the day but maybe needed for school/ gym pick up, some evenings during the week and every other weekend. Ideally, someone that can cook and speak Italian!
