This is an avocado and beef cattle property in the tall forest area of SW Western Australia.
Accommodation would be in a separate house that has 3 bedrooms, with basic requirements such as electric stove, microwave, fridge, hot water, wood fire, bedding and linen, washing machine, no mobile phone coverage, internet access and landline telephone at main house by arrangement.

The property is isolated (20km to Northcliffe) so if you have a car that would be good. There may be a car available (conditions apply) for you to use if urgently required.
We would like help with such tasks as pruning, electric fencing, distributing mulch, garden work, and keeping your house clean.

We can arrange pick up from Northcliffe town if coming by bus (daily service from Bunbury).
In exchange for full board we would like help for about 5 or 6 hours per weekday, usually in the morning, weather permitting, but this is flexible.
We will provide food but you will need to cook for yourself.

We live in a small town of Witchcliffe, 5 minutes drive from Margaret River with beautiful beaches and forests on our door step
We live in a small strawbale cottage that I built a few years ago
We are about to start building 2 more strawbale pods.
One being used for a kitchen/dining the other for two bedrooms and a bathroom.
We are planning to lay the slab the end of May 16 and start on the post and beam structure late August.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about straw bale building. We would like to host people with an interest in straw bale or sustainable building who can help with the general labour, lime rendering, carpentry...
Experience in building would be great, but not essential.
If you would like to help we would welcome your labour and skills, We have a bit of room to park your van or even pitch your tent, we also have a bell tent that might be available depending on the dates.

The property is a free standing house in a charming hills village in the hills outside Perth. The grounds are two thirds of an acre with some fruit trees but the grounds are an old 1920s property which is undergoing restoration as a typical hills property; reestablishing vegetable garden, restoring the old fruit trees and most importantly removing the invasive weeds that have colonized the hillside block of land.

From autumn through to late spring this district is a very popular tourist location due to the wild flowers that bloom in the extensive bush surroundings. Western Australia has the greatest range of wildflowers any where in the world!

If you are interested in gardening and horticulture from autumn through to spring householders in this area need considerable help in their gardens. The blocks of land are as large as mine so they need constant maintenance. Earlier HelpX visitors have obtained paid work in this way.

The accommodation on offer is an upstairs bedroom... more inside

*MAY UPDATE 13/05/16 We are urgently seeking carpenters and gardeners for our farm house restoration project AND helpers to assist with seasonal work (e.g. stick picking), tidying farm and help with meals.*

We have two beautiful equestrian and cattle properties in the south west, only 1.5 hours from Perth city. We breed beef cattle and breed and agist horses.

Our home farm is nestled in a valley, with a natural creek running into a series of dams. The property, which has idyllic country views, is surrounded by forrest and is the perfect place for nature walks, feeding the ducks, canoeing or just relaxing on the deck around the dam. We are trying to renovate our house on this farm, so at the moment we are living in the dairy on our working farm.

Our working farm is just 20 mins from our home farm. With just over 200 cattle and around 60 horses, there is always plenty to do! We do not offer horse riding on our farms, but our family have a riding farm not far from us where you... more inside

In exchange for free accommodation, food and wifi we would like some house duties completed for a few hours every day then can use free time swimming in our pool or watching Foxtel. Some child minding on occassions. Transwa buses come up Mondays & Thursdays.

Established in 2001 when I was made redundant and retired early, independent and self-funded research is being undertaken that enables trees to be successfully established in low rainfall regions that represent 90% of Australia and 70 of the planet's landmass. The main focus is high survival and growth rates to address salinity.

'Auria' is the word 'Australia' from which 'salt' has been removed.
Locally the water table has been lowered by over 2metres seasonally with considerable benefits for neighours up and down the catchment.

'Auria' has twice been a finalist in the UN Association of Australia 'World Environment Day Awards'.

Over the years I have had many wonderful volunteers who have loved the discoveries that are being made here in regard to saving the planet for future generations.

Trees are the most important part of 'the water cycle' - there is no better way for restoring rainfall than establishing trees in low rainfall regions.

I live 800 metres from beach only a short walk.
At the Horse Vision Centre we do Horse assisted Learning and Therapy helping young people with issues like anxiety and depression. The horses need to be walked or ridden around the property , groomed, feed etc. The horses here are being rehabilitated either from abuse or injury so riding is only occasionally possible.
I have a lovely little room with single bed.
Please contact if you are interested. Would love some light hearted company.
Call for more details.

I can pick you up from the bus from Perth. Trans W.A. or South West Coach Lines
This is a place of joy where we are all looking in the direction of 'peace of mind' so come with your smile.
Note : This is a non smoking drug free help exchange.

Hello
We are a family of two parents, three children (9, 6 and 2) and two dogs! We live in an amazing Perth location close to Fremantle, the river and the beach and with bus and train and shops nearby. We are looking for one or two creative hard working people to stay with us from 20 June for 2-3 weeks who can help us with landscaping our garden to make it even more beautiful than it is now and odd jobs. We are planning an organic vegetable and herb garden, surrounded by native trees and fruit trees. We need to lay some path and driveway also so experience in gardening and/or landscaping would be preferable. We can provide a comfortable room with its own fridge, kettle, microwave, TV with Netflix, desk and a shared bathroom. We will provide a food budget for you and you are welcome to use our modern kitchen and eat with us at meal times if you wish. We would need you for 4 hours work per day on the garden and 1 hour light household chores, mostly helping us with kitchen clean up or... more inside
