We live near a beautiful beach (venus Bay) and 1 hour from Wilsons Prom and Phillip Island. A river runs through our little town( great for fishing ). we have a great pub, general store, post office, bowling club, and a football club, and 20km to beautiful Walkerville beach. You have a choice of two bedrooms with queen beds in each and your own bathroom and toilet. We would prefer someone with own car but could help with transport if needed.

We need people who can paint and like gardening. We have a ride on mower for lawns, and general odd jobs. 4 hours daily for 5 days with 2 days off. We have lots of wild life, kangaroos and koalas close by , great for photos , and kite surfing is just down the road .we are a retired couple but are young at heart and very easy going . Our family also live in this area so home is often filled with people and noise .We ask that the helpx helpers supply their own alcohol if it is more than a glass of wine with evening meals. We will give three mea... more inside

Please stay on our farm in your own detached cottage. Cottage easily accommodates a couple and a separate living room has fold-down beds for kiddies.
We offer accommodation only, with full cooking facilities available in the self contained cottage.
We have an organic vegetable patch, chickens and acreage. We would welcome help with childcare - in evenings or during the day - for our two year old boy. Red Hill South is in the centre of the wine growing region on the Mornington Peninsula.
You can walk to the shops and cafes. Wonderful walking and bicycle trails from our front gate. This is a quiet place and will suit a couple, a small family or a single traveller looking for a rest. Good beaches and surfing!

Family opperated dairy farm in the scenic Kiewa valley, north east Victoria. We milk around 100 dairy cows, have young dairy stock and beef cattle, a few sheep and a couple of riding horses. Helpers work would include assisting with : milking cows, feeding livestock, fencing, weed control, caring for young or sick livestock, general farm work and also helping with meals and housework. Autumn/Winter are our busiest times with between 6-8 hours work and Spring/Summer 3-6 hours work. We also enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, horse riding and bush walking which helpers would be most welcome to join in. Our main reason for joining helpX is to meet new people and make friends from all over the world. Look forward to hearing from you :)

Hi!

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 boys 17 and 15.

We need help with finishing our drive. Paving the edges. We would also welcome a landscape gardener and we need assistance with this. We are very flexible and are good to get along with. For the right person we are happy for you to have flexibility and to come and go as you please whilst traveling in Australia. For example, a week or two work with us then a week or two travelling then you can come back and continue ... if this suits then let me know!

This may suit some future travelers planning on coming to Melbourne. We are originally from Bath in the UK and have been in Melbourne for 8 years.

In return we can offer great self contained accommodation. Own bathroom, bedroom and kitchen diner. Lots of space outside to sit and watch the parrots! We are easy going and laid back family. Great location (Lilydale) an hour to the beach, hour to the ski slopes. Right at the heart of the Dandenong Ranges famo... more inside

I am looking to find a couple to assist me with my camel business. This includes working with the public and training young camels, cleaning shed and various farm work. No experience necessary, although confidence with large animals would be an advantage.Must enjoy camping, be willing to listen and have a real interest in camels. Preference given to non smokers. Own car an advantage.

We are looking for help from the middle of Feb 20th 2016 onwards. We would love a helper or helpers who can help with our two children 3 and a half and 10 months old., or if you have building/ renovating experience as we are renovating a bathroom and kitchen. Some farm work needed to, cattle work, gardening, spraying weeds etc.

Most suited for a couple or two friends travelling together as you will have your own furnished house, and do your own cooking etc.

Real Australian farm experience. We have 1,000 acres with 220 cows and 250 sheep, have 12 horses, 2 cats and 2 dogs.

We would like 1 - 2 people to stay minimum of 2 weeks up to 8 weeks, (most of our helpers want to stay on as long as they can!) Own car is good, however we have a car we can supply to helpers for local use so drivers licence required.

We have a separate old farm house available on the property which you will have full use of. The house is well set up with TV, DVD player, double bed etc. NO WIFI. The... more inside
