Welcome! My name is Bob.. Friends for the love of Animals

We really need help to build our Dog rescue shelter. I am hoping to find helpers to share the love of animals and help create extends and developing our land home and garden into a dog Shelter.
We are hoping that in exchange for a place to stay and sharing dinner with us. We are 10 minute drive to Kerikeri. Another must see destination in NZ, the Bay of Islands Paihia is 30 minute an away.
I can pick you up from the stop by arrangement, or just hitchhike to Waipapa (usually easy). I can meet you there.
Bed, internet, hot shower, laundry, and dinner will be offered to you for 4 hours of your time every day.
I am happy to welcome travellers into my home! I like people that are peaceful travellers through life. My Philosophy: It's nice to be nice. Live and let all others live, but best of all "when you're smiling the whole world smiles with you"!

We have a Kiwi fruit Orchard, 10km out of Kerikeri, which is farmed commercially, Our first crop of Gold Kiwifruit will be picked in the 2015/6 season, having re-grafted a 30 year old green orchard over to the new gold varity. We can also help you find Paid work in the kiwi fruit picking/ packing season. We have a couple of cattle, chickens etc, as well as a very friendly Jack Russell dog. We have 10 acres of pine forest and, 15 acres of indigenous forest, and the farm boarders on the Puketotara Stream, which is believed to have trout. We are both sailors, having finished a world circumnavigation in 2011 on our Yacht SV Cariad, which is moored in the Kerikeri Inlet, so sailing and boating is available as well. Diana is a chef at a local cafe/Bistro, so you will be well fed in Exchange for help around the farm!!! There is lots to see and do in the Bay Of Islands , which is just down the road. We have two double rooms, either to share or single.

Predominately cattle (dry stock), run a few sheep and a small beekeeping operation.

Needing help with a few duties, duties will vary from light Farm work to household chores and small building projects.

There are 2 separate double bedrooms and bathroom available, 3 meals provided.
We live approximately 20 mins drive to beautiful beaches/Whangaroa Harbour an awesome fishing area and stunning Native bush walks.

We have 4 children, but all grown up and left home. We are very keen rugby fans. Husband loves hunting, wild pigs/deer and occasionally goes duck shooting.
We live 15 mins away from township so your own transport would be good.

We currently manage a holiday park in the beautiful Far North and are looking for helpers to work 2 hours per day in exchange for accommodation and free use of our hire equipment (kayaks, bicycles, fishing rods) etc. Tasks may include cleaning, gardening, recycling, and general maintenance around the park. Activities abound in your free time and with the harbour just metres from our office, kayaking, fishing, snorkelling and diving are just a few of the things to do around here. Lovely lifestyle block. Need help with land maintenance. Particularly riparian plantings along creek. We are in the process of restoring the creek beds and native bush back to it's natural state. Some help around the house as necessary.

We speak many different languages and love people!! We have finished building a new house close to the ocean on a beautiful quiet piece of land, which we have been planting over the last 10 years (whilst camping!). The existing 300 trees (mainly natives) need looking after, weeding etc. You will have your own room with beautiful sea views and share with our family - young girl twins and a funny 7 year old!

Looking for helper from 7th May until 21st May. We are a small 5-star boutique accommodation with large formal gardens located 15 mins walk, or 5 mins by bike (provided) from Kerikeri township. We are close to many attractions. We can collect helpers from the Kerikeri bus stop.

Please note that the work we offer has to be to a high standard. We are patient and train our helpers, but those who are not used to this, find 5 star difficult, and usually rate us lower on helpx.

We offer lodging and meals in exchange for up to 3 hours help per day with garden work, training in service of rooms and other small jobs. We are flexible and we're happy to negotiate different hours & free days when required. We are a meat eating family. We include 3 meals per day on working days, and helpers share lunch and dinner with us. We are happy to help you with your conversational English.

We are developing our land using permaculture principles.
Since shifting into a new home 6 months ago we are now developing the land. So far an orchard of 78 fruit and berries has been planted , some planting of a shelter belt. native grove along the Kaukapakapa river that flows past our property New projects include fencing to have sheep for meat, garden beds and other gardens. We have 9 free range heritage chickens for eggs.
We would enjoy having a couple, meals for vegetarian, GF or other dietary needs can be provided.
