No help needed at the moment , possibly mid June

Jobs would include help in the vege garden , planting trees, painting fences, help with handling young horses if you have some experience, and if you have building or landscaping skills we could use those too!!

Your room is outside the house - sharing the bathroom with us and our 17 yr old son Finn. Our daughter is at University. There is good WiFi here.

I like to cook healthy tasty food and we eat mostly homegrown meat and vege.We both work in Richmond so Mon - Weds you would be mostly on your own those days although Deb's parents live here too so they are usually around and enjoy meeting our helpXers!

Our small farm is up a pretty , quiet valley 45mins from Nelson city.We are close to the beaches, and mountains where there is lots to explore.
We really enjoy having enthusiastic helpers who want to get involved during their stay.We enjoy the cultural exchange and learning about different countries and lives.

There is always some exciting project underway here at Fairfield; landscaping, gardening, maintenance of tracks through the reserve, renovations on the historic house, setting up for workshops, concerts and a great variety of other functions. Our family enjoy hosting willing helpers. We are situated 5 mins walk to town, however enjoy a treed and peaceful environment. Also can be flexible on arrangements. Autumn has arrived with the stunning blast of colour through the deciduous trees. The flower gardens are being put in order for the winter. There is sanding & painting & wood collecting and track clearing work to be done. We are looking for a couple to come help and enjoy Nelson & Fairfield over the cooler months. Check out the website to see the great music concerts that we also need assistance with. We live on a beautiful lifestyle farm 20 minutes from Motueka in the lovely Orinoco Valley. Our farm is planted with plenty of native plants which attract lots of native birds. We have some sheep and cows.

You will have a private room with a great view, king size bed, private bathroom and Wifi. 3 meals a day are provided. This would suit a couple, or two people who donít mind sharing a bed!

It would be good if you have your own car, however I can pick you up and drop you off at Motueka if you need.

Our family of four (including two children aged 5 and 2) needs help with some farming activities, gardening, house maintenance and any other things that might pop up.

We would really like to learn about your country and culture. If you like cooking then we would love you to cook your favourite meal for us!

4 hours a day, flexible hours. Would really prefer people to be able to stay for 5 to 7 days.

The Motueka area is rich in beautiful walks, overnight walks, river s... more inside

Kia ora
Handy with a hammer? interested in mad projects? Current project is relocating vege garden ... building retaining walls, relocating garden shed and compost stalls, building garden beds ... a labour of love to make way for the natural chemical free swimming pool (hopefully in by summer!!). I'm working a lot in May so more of a 'use this as your home base and look after yourself deal' in exchange for a couple of hours a day or day and a half per week ... if you are a landscaper or carpenter and that flexibility suits you ... love to hear from you.

Good folk are most welcome to come and share this beautiful land and my evolving home, garden, orchard, native restoration project 10 km from Nelson.

Works best for people who are self-motivated, preferably skilled/experienced/handy with tools, and who find a bit of hard work satisfying. Practical people rock. Awesome for people who enjoy a bit of time to themselves. 4ish hours a day flexi ... showing some love to the land a... more inside

Seeking good-natured willing helpers to help with a range of jobs. Suitable for independent people who enjoy doing manual work, mainly outdoors.

Work will include helping establish vegetable gardens, stacking wood, weeding, planting and some yard maintenance and possibly cleaning.

3 hours work per day in exchange for accommodation in a spare room within the house. I can accommodate 1-2 people. I am a relaxed host and have done Wwoofing myself.

Beautiful rural spot just out of Nelson, close to lovely coastline. Please note that I live a 5-7 minute drive from town and there is no public transport. You will need to have your own transport. There is a cycle trail for about half the distance to town.

I enjoy growing food (organic, permaculture, biointensive etc) and am just starting to develop my new property. My interests include most outdoor activities, especially tramping, meditation, reading, friends, yoga and currently lots of swimming at the beach or river! I am a NZer... more inside

Kanuka forest restoration project on hillside. Clearing weedy vines (banana passionfruit, old man's beard) and shrubby berberis and hawthorn from the understorey plus fennel and blackberry; enabling the continued regeneration of this patch of coastal hill forest.

Tools used: handsaws, loppers, secateurs, gloves; longs and longsleeved shirts are handy and a sturdy pair of boots.
It is addictive work, freeing the bush from smothering vines! Some fitness required and being comfortable working on a slope. 10k from Nelson 2km from Glenduan beach. Views over farmland to Tasman Bay. Turns to cook welcomed.

Will you be our next Helper(s)? We've had some truly lovely travellers stay with us, and their help has been awesome. Our farm is mixed stock (cattle, horses, hens, pets etc) in a quiet, attractive, private valley, with an older traditional partly-renovated wooden farmhouse. We are developing the gardens, natural bush areas and wetlands. The gardens normally grow a lot of our food, & our hens are free-range. The property is entirely independent for power, with mainly solar power. We enjoy sharing the area with travellers, and also board/card games, laughter, stories. We offer meals and accommodation for 4 hours help daily per adult. Activities may include gardening, light farm-work, developing native areas/gardens, or similar. For safety reasons we are a non-smoking property. Excitingly, as we develop more of the bush and gardens, the native birds are increasing... Weka, Kea, Bellbirds, Tui, Koreru, Fantails, Morepork, Bush Robins etc.
We are just one hour from all 3 National Park... more inside
