Hello. We are based in Upwey, near Belgrave in the Dandenong Ranges (Victoria). We require someone who can help around the house and garden and help with school pick ups and some help with cooking. Does not require night or weekend work. There could be occasional times. Thankyou.

hello from Elaine and John

Our cottage/House is located very close to the beach and shopping village at Blairgowrie / Sorrento on Port Phillip Bay Victoria Australia with good public transport to Melbourne

It is a heritage listed property with garden areas/grounds together with a 2 bed accommodation in a separate loft area with all bath room facilities and breakfast only type kitchen
It is a lovely area by the beach that is great for swimming together with ocean surfing nearby with good public transport
My wife and I have widely travelled and we are asking for help with garden areas (weeding, preparation etc.) and house exterior (prep painting, etc.)

We prefer helpx guests to stay for approximately one week initially, we are very happy to negotiate longer stays once you arrive.

This idyllic 6 hectare hobby farm is located along a creek valley in the foothills of the Dandenong ranges.
Along the creek border is a flora and fauna reserve of more than 100 hectares full of wildlife, complete with walking trails, all accessible from the farm.
Kangaroos and wombats visit every day as do a myriad of native birds such as cockatoos and parrots.
Volunteers can help 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, in a range of tasks including domestic duties, animal care (horses and dogs) and farm work. Contributing to the daily chores of meal preparation, cleaning up after meals is in addition to the farm work. Think of it as being part of the family where you participate and share the chores.
The reward is the special Aussie experience that is on offer. Unique Australian wildlife in a completely natural setting, a warm cosy home and all only an hour and a half from Melbourne by train.
Learn about farm tasks like fencing, organic gardening, horse care etc.

We are hobby farm with several horses, ducks, chooks, geese, dogs, cats and children...We have a large orchard and veggie patch.
We also have another property on the beach 5min away.
We are always looking for people with a keen interest in horses and/or living the farm life.
Work is generally picking up horse poo, weeding, mowing, whipper snipping, feeding cows and sheep and fencing in the morning. Then playing with horses in the afternoon depending on how experienced you are. I'm happy to teach anyone who is keen to learn and have a good attitude. I event, show jumping and follow natural horsemanship with my horses.
Girls only please.

Ken, Robyn & Barbara (Robyn's sister) would like to welcome you to "Campania" in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, about 50 minutes east of Melbourne CBD.

WE NEED GARDENERS!

Please read our profile carefully - see what we provide in exchange for 3 hours work per day, weekends off!!

April: The days are cooler & we have had some welcome rain. Our nights can be chilly! Great weather for bushwalking & visiting local gardens.

Autumn means working in the garden, getting rid of leaf litter & bark and pruning some bushes & trees to lessen our bushfire risk so this is a good place to be if you like being outdoors.

We really appreciate accommodating helpers with some skills &/or experience, so please let us know what you have been doing, whether personal or professional, so that we can meet our expectations as well as your own of improving your English, seeing Australia and experiencing life with an Australian family.

At the moment we need help setting up our vegetable market garden for autumn planting and have vacancies right now where we would enjoy some help, but we no longer take helpers who are not prepared to be part of life on a farm.

We live on a farm which provides a great deal of our food. We always have meat ( chicken, pork, beef, lamb) in the freezer and eggs ( duck , guinea fowl, pheasant, hen) and goat milk. We also grow vegetables.

WE DO NOT WASTE ANYTHING - . This is not about recycling, this is about USING all you have and not rushing out to the supermarket to buy groceries.

WE DO NOT NEED HELP WITH COOKING !

We have fabulous food every day - Thai curries, pizzas, roasts, stews. There is always a LOT of food. We make our own beer and wine and ginger beer and lemonade . We make jams and pickles and cheese and butter. We know how to cook and we do not take vegetarians or vegans.

We live about 25km from Ballarat in Victoria and can pick people up from the rai... more inside

I am a nurse living on my own 8 ac property at Lal Lal near Ballarat. I train and compete horses for Eventing. I am always busy working, riding, coaching and competing and would love some help around the place and also appreciate the company!!

I am an easy going, fun loving person who enjoys meeting new people. I have a very friendly little dog and a giant orange cat who you cant help but like! I have 4 horses on the property at the moment and I'm also involved in breeding and breaking horses in conjunction with my family in Tasmania.

I have previously lived in lots of share houses as a student and am easy to live with, pretty good cook (I love my food) and keep the house clean and tidy!

The house is a cute little 2 bedroom cottage with wifi. The spare room has a double bed so I am happy to take singles or couples. The property is 20 mins from Ballarat, 75mins from Melbourne and 45 mins from Geelong with a bus service 150m from the gate. I... more inside

We have recently purchased one of the oldest houses in Daylesford (1852) and are lovingly restoring it back to its original form. Using all reclaimed and natural finishes. It is truly a unique home with 2 x separate cottages in the garden. We have done most of the building works and now need 2 people to help with light maintenance, gardening, painting, labouring and some restoration and maybe some cleaning once we are set up. The country village we live in is one of the most famous in Victoria for vineyards, resturants, walking, the beautiful lake and many other attractions. We are a friendly couple, who eat well, are easy going. You will have your own room with ensuite.
