Looking for a French person to help with home duties including cleaning, cooking, laundry and sometimes picking up children. In exchange, a self-contained cottage in Toorak, some meals, food allowance and/or supplies provided and a car is provided. Drivers licence essential. Our three children are learning french. Some light French tuition/conversation and cultural exchange would add to the experience. Occasional weekend farm stay also included. Most weekends would be free. Be part of a busy Melbourne family. Longer stay preferable.

Looking for one person (but can accommodate a couple) to build a bike shelter on the side of our house (it will be attached to the weatherboards). We are a family of four comprising two children - a nine-year old boy and a three-year old girl. We can help with the design of the shelter but you must have the skills to construct it (if you can design it that would be even better!) If you are a couple and only one person has carpentry skills then the other person can either help with the construction or do some gardening (my daughter wants to make a fairy garden).

We're really friendly outgoing people who enjoy having guests. At this stage we are looking for someone for one to two weeks but would consider extending the stay if everyone is happy.

If you are a single person you would be sleeping in the study on a single futon bed. If you are a couple you would be in a larger bedroom on a queen size bed. We are 15-20 minutes walk from Sydney road and train stations. We also ha... more inside

We're a family located in Korumburra, just over an hour from Melbourne CBD. We are 20 min to Inverloch beach, 45 min to Phillip Island and 1 hour to Wilsons Prom. If you'd like to stay here a car is a definite advantage. We operate a home based laser engraving business. We have 2 daughters 7 and 9 and an indoor/outdoor dog Chester who is 3.5 years old. We have a quarter acre block of which we are trying to cultivate fruit and vegetables, the dog dug up everything last year so we need to get fences put up to keep him out. Ideally we are looking for 1 or 2 friends (female) to assist us with gardening in our fruit/vegie patch, and some cleaning. (Someone with graphic design background would be fantastic - we use CorelDRAW for our engraving business. We will provide accommodation and 3 meals a day in exchange for 4 hours work per day. You need to be honest, motivated and fun. We love having visitors and look forward to your company. We only have 1 queen size bed available for visitors.
