I’m a 38 yo Frenchman starting a farm business in southern France growing saffron on a small property. The house is an old stone house, built by my grandfather, located in a rural area but close to big towns like Toulon. You will have your own room and toilet with a shared bathroom. The place is old and rustic but clean and comfortable - non smoking please, WiFi available. My saffron business is only just being established so there is always something to do in the garden.

Looking for helpers. I require planting, weeding, harvesting, some household chores. 4hrs/day & 5 days/week in exchange for free meals and accommodation. I eat mostly organic and local. On a personal note - I enjoy having visitors from France & abroad and speak fluent English as I lived & worked in Australia for several years.

There is a nice old house in a fantastic area in the southwest of France, that needs a lot renovation now through the summer. If you can help by doing a bit of interior work, cleanup or renovation please contact us. The house is in a medieval fortified village, Puycelci, with a very large forest nearby -great for walking and exploring. The village is on the internet if you want to have a look. The house is near the tower.
We offer your own room with food in exchange for 4.5 hours of work per day, 5 days a week. We prefer two people that can work well together. We ask for at least 2 weeks -please no children and no dogs -the house is not set up for them.
Also close by is the great wine region of Gaillac, the interesting city of Albi with the famous Toulouse Lautrec museum, and several fortified hilltop villages from the Middle Ages. You can easily arrive at Puycelci by auto or by train to Gaillac where we can come to meet you.
We speak French, Italian and English.

Hi all! My name is Eddy. I'm 59 and from Flemish origin, but I live in southern France since 12 years now. My occupation (in the sense of the things I occupy my time with) is a mixture of pilgrim/photographer/musician/nature lover, and I like to bring people together.
My place is situated 3,5km outside of the small village of Villardebelle, 35km SE of the historic city of Carcassonne, at an altitude of 712m. Mountainous area, forests, pastures, isolated and very quiet, nearest shops and banks at Limoux (23km), hot springs at Rennes-les-Bains (also 23km), so having your own means of transport is preferable. If you like this sort of quiet hidden places this is the place to be.
The energy of the place is introspective and highly transformative, so I turned it into a place of inner transformation, exchange and sharing, which I've called the "Pilgrims' Nest", open to all 'pilgrims' on the road, and to all who travel consciously their inner path of evolution. It also welcomes everyone ... more inside

Hey!

I am Marie Lou. I recently created my own little enterprise on the Western Norman seaside

I offer a bunch of activities focused on sustainable food, from field to fork!

I grow my own medicinal, aromatics and some (beloved!) edible flowers on the coastline in between the harbours of Agon and Granville.

For the coming spring with the recent launch of my enterprise, I have a bunch of stuff to do:
I am currently renovating an old caravan into a sweet nomadic kitchen, plus I have a permaculture designed garden to care of.

I would love some help for these two mains activities. Whether or not you have knowledge about caravaning/kitchen/gardening, I am sure we'll have some great stuff to share!

I speak fluent English and (almost) Spanish, as well as French.
I offer the couch and food for a bunch of days, weeks, depending on our needs/wishes.
If you want some extra info, do not hesitate to contact me and check out my facebook page!
Looking forward to read you... more inside

We need help in the up keep of the house and in the routine of daily house work. It's a nice house within minutes of the popular lake of St. Ferreol and a short walk to the beautiful town of Revel. We are four swiss people, one of us is an artist (painter) and ready to give you some inspirations, if you want.

We have sold our smallholding on the Isle of Wight and have bought a property in the foothills of the Pyrenees in France which we have converted to Bed & Breakfast.

The area is fantastic for all outdoor activities and easily accessible by public transport - check out the things to do section on our web site.

We are looking for help between the end of May to the middle of July. You will help with the running of the bed & breakfast; including cleaning and the serving of breakfasts and evening meals. There may also be some outdoor work including gardening and, Anya our dog loves a nice long walk.

Ideally, we are looking for people who appreciate the value of cleanliness and friendliness when dealing with guests at a Bed & Breakfast - we have very high standards (we don't say that to put you off but it's crucial to our success so far - have a look at our reviews on booking 'dot' com and Trip Advisor).

Most of our guests are French or Catalan so the ability to speak one of th... more inside

GENERAL HELP NEEDED IN RURAL FRANCE

We are Sue and Paul, we live in our French Farmhouse which has been renovated (still the land/barns to do). We are looking for some help between February and June 2017 and prefer a minimum stay of 2 weeks. There is still lots of work to be done.

There are plenty of jobs whatever your skills:
Help with laying new floor in barn
The boundary stone wall needs rebuilding

We are trying to increase the size of our kitchen garden and hope to set up some no-dig beds.

Also we have a very old Massey Pony tractor to help with ploughing, so anyone with knowledge/experience of these would be helpful.

We aim to be reasonably self sufficient (organic) within the next 3 years. At the moment we have 2 sheep (hopefully lambs soon), chickens and 2 dogs.

Volunteers may have to share a room but this would depend on how many volunteers we have, the accommodation is good and the rooms are en-suite. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroo... more inside
