I currently have a vacancy for a couple from Thursday 29 June for one week.
The work is outside gardening work regardless of the weather.

Our emphasis is on your privacy as your accommodation is not in the house with us but in a beautiful cabin, with use of a solar heated swimming pool (except from June to August as we turn the heating off during winter).

WE DO NOT NEED HELP WITH LOOKING AFTER ANIMALS, HOUSEWORK, COOKING OR BABYSITTING.

Assistance is required with helping shovel gravel, removing branches and foliage from trees we have had cut down and general landscaping duties.

Please read my listing carefully all the way through before emailing me as you need to be aware of the kind of work you will be doing.

We offer great, private accommodation and food in return for 20 hours/week outdoor work (regardless of weather). The work is outdoors and physical, and the accommodation is great! It is like a resort!
We also expect you to keep the cabin very clean and tidy ... more inside

I believe that I am one of the lucky people who live in a special place in the landscape. I purchased my farm many years ago in a desperate and degraded state and have transformed it into an arcadia. The challenge is to now make a responsible living from the land and I hope to do so by thinning out my abundant forests and selling the wood as boards. Wood is a most wonderful and beautiful product and I try to use it where ever I can and this is my project here.
I believe in reverence to Nature and is what we need to work with to save us humans and the planet. Consequently I lead a rustic life where Nature is greatly appreciated.
I like visitors who are broadminded and who have a respect for Nature. I also like people who are creative and I'd welcome anyone who has some project like writing or art that they would like to work on or someone who just wants to commune with Nature. Maybe they could camp in the jungle cave for a night or my small hut. l have even written a manuscri... more inside

July 2017 - We're sorry but we are not looking for anyone at the moment. If you would like to stay and pay, please read last paragraph.

We purchased our beautiful property just over 2 years ago and are looking for people to help us with some gardening, weeding, stick picking, general outdoor maintenance and maybe a little housework. I work at a school during the week, while Don maintains and works on our property.

We require 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday and weekends off), though we can be flexible with the working hours, so you can work full days and have other days off or work mornings with afternoons free etc.

At the moment we are mainly looking for helpers for outdoor, manual work - stick picking and clearing/cleaning up bushy areas, weed spraying, a bit of fence repairs, general outdoor work etc. Now is the perfect time to be working outdoors in Queensland. Our cooler months are spectacular.

We will supply food for your breakfast and lunc... more inside
