****************WE ARE CURRENTLY BACK IN CANADA, SO WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY MORE HELPERS************

Hello everyone!!! Your stay with us is going to be incredibly awesome if you so choose to help x at our house! :)

We are 5 housemates living in an older house in a little place called Williamstown. It's a beautiful suburb that started here back in 1850 and is a hot spot during the summer as we are a foot into the Bay, which means we are surrounded by ocean and it only takes a couple minutes walk to get to the beach. At night there are pubs open late during the summer and can get quite crowded during the day on the beaches.

We are about a 25 minute train ride from the CBD. So, getting into the city is not hard and can be easily accesible at any time of day. The last train back into Willi leaves around midnight but if you like the nightlife you can always stay out til the trains start in the morning OR a taxi ride is not expensive if you're sharing it with a group.

Torquay
Denis Ryan (76), lives at this wonderful beach house retreat. The house is a 4 bedroom property with two bathrooms, open plan living, spacious kitchen with all mod cons. The deck and garden are superb and offer peace and quiet around the property and is very low maintenance due to the clever planting of natives and flowering shrubs. It is a haven for exotic birds & possums.

In exchange for 4 hours a day, one day off a week, you will be accommodated in a comfortable, light and airy bedroom, with use of one of the two bathrooms.

You need to have a clean driving licence and be able and willing to use the car for necessary trips. These might include taking husband Denis (who's wheelchair bound) to the local swimming pool for his class and picking him up again just outside of Geelong in Grovedale. As Denis was a keen surfer it may mean driving to checkout the waves at Bells or wherever.

To enjoy the beach is a 5mins walk , 5 mins walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, lov... more inside

Hello, my property is small - on 3 acres, however there's a lot going on that I need a hand with. Most of the work will be around the house garden and vegetable patch. Mulching, weeding, perhaps some pruning. I am actively revegetating paddocks and creek areas. The 3 bedroom house is located in Eldorado, a small and friendly town in North Eastern Victoria.

NE Victoria has much to offer, Eldorado is close to wineries, snowfields, and well known areas like Beechworth, Milawa, King Valley - so much to see. In exchange for food and board, there would be an expectation that you would work for at least 4 hours (Saturday and Sunday) giving plenty of time off to explore the area.. Work only available on the weekends.

We are a family run dairy farm in the rural town of Dingee, located in Northern Victoria, approximately 30 mins from Bendigo. Dingee provides us access to a train station, with direct routes from Melbourne, a post office and country pub. We are offering a room, with all meals provided, and access to facilities within our family home on the farm.

In exchange we milk 300 cows and rear approximately 100 calves, we would love for someone to help feed the calves each morning, assist with the management of summer weeds and with other small household and farm jobs.

A car licence would be of a benefit but not essential. Please let us know a bit about yourself if you are interested and we look forward to hearing from you.

Your work can contribute towards a second working holiday visa.

Thank you.

We are looking for a wonderful helper from around 20th January. We have a business in the lovely seaside town of Sorrento vic. We live in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Closest city Melbourne. In exchange for accommodation and food you would work at least 4 hours each day..as a helper or if you are a cook or waitress there is also paid work. We offer good food and comfy clean accommodation. You have your own room and a bed. You will have plenty of free time to explore the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. We have 7 children one hairy dog called Biscuit and 2 cats. We live on an acre with some chooks and a neglected veggie patch. It's a busy noisy household, not for the faint-hearted but can be fun if you enjoy the company of kids, like walking the dog on the beach and can work without too much supervision. Ideally you will be independent, capable and a sense of humour may be needed at times. Our best helpers have Been able to look around them and jump in and help! T... more inside

Hi travellers!
Our farm is a grain and legumes property in the Wimmera with alpacas, sheep and a cat who thinks she is a dog. Our home property is an hour north of the beautiful Grampians, on the plains between Melbourne and Adelaide. We can pick you up from local towns that have regular bus services from Melbourne or elsewhere. Our sons have left home so we have available rooms in our house. Our other property is close to the Grampians and you may spend some time there too.
Your help in the garden, the homestead and farms will be much appreciated. Tasks could include digging, pruning, general gardening, helping build sheep yards and fencing, tidying up, alpaca and general farm work. We would like you to work for five hours a day, with one day off a week. We prefer a week's stay to start with. In return we offer you food, accommodation and an insight into life on an Australian family farm.
Mid September onwards.
