We live in a small village in the South of France and are surrounded by vineyards, rural to say the least. As it is a small village, there is a lot of walks to do, and we are near the canal du midi and a local lake. You can just relax and enjoy the countryside, or use a bike and take a country ride. We are looking for some help with basic home maintenance like painting, varnishing and basic repairs. Also some deep cleaning and organizing. A couple would work, or an individual looking for a 2-3 week stay in the South of France. The village is fairly small and a bit out-of-the-way, so transportation is a must, unless you want a zen stay while here and to mingle with the locals (international crowd). We are flexible with scheduling, ask for 20-25 hours per week, the rest of the time is yours, and I don't micro-manage, so independence is a must. You would have a private room And meals, bien sur. We have cats, in and out of the house, so if you have allergies it could be a problem.

I just moved into a beautiful little paradise : A sunny house in a garden on a hill facing the medieval little village Lanet in the 'Hautes Corbières'. This region is full of hills and woods and very few people, who therefore have to organize themselves well. And they do. Lots of social life, little markets etc. The biodiversity here is stunning. If you love nature you will love it here.
I live off the D221 direction Montjoi and the 'Gorges de l'Orbieu' The place you want to be all summer by and in this invigorating river. You really don't have to go to the sea to cool off. Also where I live nights will always get cooler, even in the hottest summer. My land (8000 m2) reaches from a brook to almost the top of a hill. The house in the lower part is surrounded by a botanical garden, a small vegetable garden and a wild garden. I NEED HELP IN ALL THE GARDENS and in the easy reachable woodland above the house. Especially in spring and autumn. But the first thing we will have to do is to... more inside

It's a nice place in a beautiful village in south of France, near the well known "Pont du Gard". We like gardening, music, theater, cooking , taï chi chuan, yoga...and we have 1 dog and 2 cats.... our place is very comfortable, a nice house with a big garden and a splendid view all around. we need helpers for little works in the house like painting sometimes, in the garden to cut grass, trees, clean flowers, all you imagine to care the garden . We have a river not far, where we can swim and refresh. The Mediterranéenne sea is at about 1 hour by car, and many beautiful places to visit around.
My husband speaks very well english and spanish, i understand very well english, i speak not too bad !!!
we hope to receive many helpers and wish we will spend very good moments together.

A house with a barn house attached in village in the Cathar region on the foothill of the french Pyrenees. We live here with 4 (sometimes more people). We have a small (vegetable) garden and big terras with a beautiful view. A big alternative area of the France. Very close to nature to go hiking and/or skiing.
We have an alternative outlook on life. We like to be aware of our footprint on this beautiful planet. Developing our awareness/consciousness with the aim of being in peace with all there is. Yoga (not required :-), vegetarian/vegan (not required though), aim to consume local products, buy stuff secondhand, recycle materials. (together) We speak French, English, German, Portugees, Spanish and Dutch. Open to renewing sustainable ideas and projects plans and looking forward on exchanging ideas.

After 15 years traveling, I decided to renovate a little countryside house on a 4000 square meters land by the river and the forest to have our little nest.
My almost 14 years old twins (a boy and a girl) are this year all week long in a boarding school and I do work here, since 5 years.
I would need a help to finish because I really want to do other things, as learning shoes and bags making and other usefullthings and travel again.
I need help from easygoing and independent people who know walls and flor coating, a little tiling, building walls, gardening, maybe cooking, carpentry, ...
A beautiful private wooden space a few meters away from the house is disponible, bathroom and wifi is in the house.

Hello,

I am a single mother of 3 and looking for someone who can help me with the kids keeping the house tidy(ish) cook a few meals and last but not least babysit at least once a week sometimes overnight.Sometimes by surprise, but usually warned in advance:)!
In exchange for food, board and some french in the house. I am a highshool english teacher. I am looking for someone who can stay for the summer season from nowish till september/october. but just a few weeks is great too as i am a bit desperate!
You would need a drivers license as we live in a village 25km from Carcassonne. To enjoy your stay here it is best to have a car or rent one to be able to visit the countryside and have the freedom a car gives you.
You would have a bedroom, shared bathroom and private acces to your room from the street. Two of you can come but I can only aford the costs for one person. I'd need a little help with the shopping costs and electricity bill for the extra person. (i never splurge and te... more inside
