No one needed at the moment thanks.

We are a couple in our 60's who have a small rural property 4km out of Waipukurau. We have 4 neighbours who are also on 1 hectare blocks but otherwise are surrounded by farmland. It is normally very quiet here.

Hastings is only 30 minutes drive away with another 15 minutes to Napier.

We do not run as a business or try to make a profit from what we are doing so there are no pressures for hard work or long hours. We have one hectare that is partly in 2 paddocks surrounded by recently planted native trees and shrubs. There is also an orchard consisting of 80 fruit and nut trees. We have 4 sheep several hens (numbers vary) and two burmese cats.
We are looking for someone to help with the day to day tasks of looking after things which could include gardening, watering, spraying, building fences or planting. It just depends on what is happening at the time. In exchange for 4 hours work per day (weekends are free time) we offer accommodation and... more inside

Hi I live 20 minutes West of Hastings and 25 min south west of Napier in a rural setting. Our house is on a lifestyle block overlooking the beautiful Ngaruroro river and vineyards.
I have a large modern home with a swimming pool and a dog.
The jobs would be to suit guests and may include house sitting, outdoor work /gardening, looking after pets. Good cooking is most welcome.
In exchange for meals and accommodation approx 4 hours work a day/28 a week which can be flexible.
Non smokers only.
Wifi available.
Sky tv
I travel a lot so you may be on your own some nights. My 23 year old son is often home during the week and my 15 year old son will normally be home from boarding school in the weekends and they are very welcoming to travelers, often doing cool kiwi stuff. I also have a 19 year old son and 16 year old daughter who are home from time to time.
Great place to come and stay, work and relax with the best views in Hawkes Bay.

We live on 2000 acre farm by the sea in Te Awanga. The Gordon family have been farming on this land for over 150 years. We live in one of the farm cottages with our little girl Frankie and by Jasper.

We are really keen travellers and we enjoy meeting people from other countries.

We are looking for one person who can help us with our new glamping site. Jobs would involve painting, planting trees, ect you can see our website www.cliftonglamping.co.nz

Helpers definitely need their own transport as we are out of town and there is no public transport available

We are 15mins drive to Napier, Havelock North and Hastings. 5 mins to the beach, Te Awanga, wineries.

Hi There! I'm a former resident of Auckland who visited beautiful Hawkes Bay for a Holiday 4 years ago Öand decided to stay!

Iíve purchased a historic cottage in Central Napier City, which I am restoring to original condition. It is a slow process, carefully pulling back layers to reveal the original interior.

This restoration project is a big job! so I need our help! with gardening, household chores, and some light restoration work, such as painting.

There's plenty to do in Hawkes Bay! Including my favourite hike... Bell Rock! (Photo attached).

If this sounds like you, then please do get in touch...

Happy travels!
Matt

We live on the Napier Taupo road where we manage a small vineyard in Esk Valley. We have both traveled a lot, I have WWOOFed in Europe and South Korea and and my husband has worked on various vineyards in Germany and California.

Jobs are a mix of housework, cooking and gardening.

We are a 10 minute walk from the Esk River which is nice for swimming in summer and a 10 minute drive from the beach. There is also the Eskdale mountain bike park not far from us.

We also live next door to the Zeelandt Brewery which has a great selection of very good craft beers!

Accommodation - Room with 1 double bed and sole use of downstairs bathroom.

Meals would be mainly cooked for you but if you like cooking are more then happy for you to cook as part of your four hours.

We prefer mature travellers (over 20) and ask that you have your own transport.

We have a 10 month old baby but you will be sleeping downstairs and have your own bathroom.

We live on an 6 acre lifestyle block, where I am trying to re design the outdoor space according to permaculture principles. I have been on this land for 3 years, in that time I have worked on a lot of projects trying to make way for food forests, vegetable gardens, more diverse planting around the wetland area to attract the native birds and bees, setting up tanks and energy systems to become self-sufficient. I still have many projects I would like to complete to achieve my goals of the ideal space including creating garden sheds, nursery areas, planting, creating a toilet block, space for other alternate accommodation, bird cages in the eucalyptus paddock, finishing of the barn, rain water collection tanks etc. I am a part of the local permaculture group and tree croppers association. I love meeting new people and imparting my knowledge on a range of topics, while learning about your story as well.
The main house is a log cabin which looks out over the wetland, we also have a sl... more inside
