We have recently moved from our dairy farm to our lifestyle block with a new Home. It is next to our dairy farm which is now managed by our daughter and son in law.
We would love some help with our Garden and house maintenance. Also firewood gathering and stacking. 4 hours a day in exchange for a comfortable bed and all meals.
We offer a Queen sized bed or 2 king singles with your own bathroom (unless we have other family members here for school holidays as well.)
Great for married couples, but we would also welcome older helpers
We are approx 15 km from the City of Wanganui as well as Kia Iwi Beach, so if you have a car you have a great beach and city close. We can however arrange to pick you up from Wanganui. We have decided to sell our lifestyle block and move to the beach, so would love some help keeping it looking great. That is, Gardening and Windows etc. There is also an opportunity to "house sit" for a couple of days at a time

Hello helpers
At the moment I need help with painting...lots of painting :-)
Recently I purchased a defunct restaurant in Waverley South Taranaki. Waverley is 44kms north-east of Wanganui. My plan is to convert the space into a Gallery for my travel photography (with coffee) and in the future serving wholesome vegetarian food. At present I need some help with renovating the building as it needs a paint. So there is easy stuff like painting, cleaning and general garden maintenance. I am house sitting here in Waverley so there is a clean homely place to stay. and lots of undiscovered attractions in the area.

Halfway along State Highway 3 between Hawera and Wanganui lies Waverley, the South Taranaki Districtís southern most town. Waverley offers visitors a wide variety of adventures and experiences to get your heart pumping or help you enjoy some rest and relaxation. Its shopping centre has retail and service outlets as well as a supermarket, service station, The cafe is cur... more inside

We live on our sheep and beef hill country farm, near the Ruahine Ranges. It is 35-40 minutes to the closest towns (Taihape and Feilding). We have wireless satellite internet, but no cellphone coverage, although this is available from the nearest hilltop. It is approx 1hr 40mins to to the Ski slopes and two hours to Lake Taupo. Fly Fishing in the local river is just 10 minutes away.

Depending on your skills base we require help with childcare, cooking, cleaning, gardening, painting, odd jobs, weed/pest control, scrub cutting, farm work. And depending on the work you end up doing some of it might be paid - we are not totally into slave labour :)

We have a cat and dogs and 2 young children - (7) and (5) We do eat meat most nights. Would prefer non-smokers and people wanting to stay for a minimum of 5 days (but this is flexible).

Hi!
We are looking for a kind, fun and caring person/s to help us care for our 3 school aged children approx 4 days a week from July to October during the calving season as well as helping around the house. In exchange for this couple of hours work a day, we offer a private, cosy room with own toilet, access to wifi, food (you may have to cook your own as we are not the best cooks) and possibly the use of a car to travel around in.
There is also the opportunity to help out on the farm if you love the outdoors.
We are situated in beautiful Waverley, a small rural farming community 30 mins north of Wanganui, 30 mins south of Hawera. Surf beaches are nearby as well as stunning scenery, national parks and the amazing Mount Taranaki.
We would love for our children to experience and learn from different cultures. We are a relaxed, easy going family but very busy which is why we are seeking help over the busiest piece of our year.
Feel free to contact us with any questions :)

I live in a small town called Marton, it is in the middle of everywhere!
All my children have grown and left home and left me with the cats, a dog and the chickens. I'm fully fenced.
I have not been in this house long and am working on neatening up the section, so if you love gardening and creating gardens out of jungles, this may be the place for you!
I can offer meals or at least a kitchen, your own bedroom and a town you can walk everywhere around.
Being central we are in the middle of the lower North Island.

Our main priority at our farm is breeding and showing miniature horses and American Shetlands - therefore we prefer people with definite horse experience, as we have little time to train and explain the wonderful world of horses. We currently have 80 odd miniatures, including USA imported stock. Whilst we love to meet many people from many parts of the world, horse experience is important. It's not all entirely horse work, there is gardening and general cleaning as well. Please note, I smoke, and we both enjoy a drink in the evening. We also don't eat early.
