This is a family owned and operated orchard located in the Far North of New Zealand.

We have three dogs, two rottweilers, Rambo and Snooki and Russel (The Jack Russel). All our pets are extremely friendly and will lick you to death.

Our orchard is a mixed berry orchard and avocados. Throughout the year, we have different jobs around the orchard, sometimes picking avocados, planting blueberries, picking blueberries, weeding and other orchard jobs.

We live in the most beautiful part of NZ, only an hour from Cape Reinga if you drive sloowwww, and 10mins from 90 Mile Beach. We are spoiled with natures beauty all around us.

We are looking for helpers during the year , on and off as the seasons change.

We look forward to having you stay with our weeee family.

Plenty of food, hot showers, and warm rooms. We have a 6ha block, of which 4ha is in nursery and garden centre, remainder orchard, veges, ornamental planting & alpaca grazing. A small stream goes through the middle which we have planted, its great in summer to lie in the shade under a tree. A variety of jobs may be found, usually nusery related jobs working with our permanent staff including potting, weeding etc, but may include property maintenance, cleaning, gardening painting etc, . We are a kiwi/Thai couple with 3 kids at home, a ragdoll cat, a yellow Lab, & alpacas. Oh & Muffin the little shizhtu x that "works" for us too everyday- a two for one deal that comes with a staff member LOL.
We have several rooms (all have heaters over winter) One is semi self contained, the others are close by the kitchen & bat... more inside

We are Tony and Briar, and we are dairy farming in the Far North. We have an almost 3 year old son, a 6 month old daughter and lots of cows, two dogs and two chooks... We are a happy little family and enjoy meeting new people.

We enjoy having little adventures such as bush walks, beach excursions and fishing when the time allows, although the dairy farm keeps us very busy! Our farm is located within 40 minutes of both West and East Coast beaches, a perfect base to explore our beautiful region from.

We would love some help with some basic tasks on the farm, in particular, fencing, around the house, with our young children, and with our garden.

You will have your own room in a sleepout.

We are looking forward to meeting some lovely new people and sharing a little of our farming lives and kiwi culture with you. In return, we would like you to show some initiative, be curious- ask us questions about our lives/farming/nz, be polite- please and thank-yous are really important... more inside

The magical wild and rambling Quince Cottage gardens are in need of some special tender loving care and maintenance! Needs include weeding, pruning and composting with some opportunity for creative pathway, trellis and outdoor living design. At present accommodation for willing workers is a separate and spacious self contained studio close to the house. Both accommodation and meals are offered in exchange. Meals are predominantly vegetarian from local, organic seasonal produce with fermented condiments included. I am 10 minutes from Keri keri township (could pickup from town), a few minutes walk to tidal landing ideal for kayaking and approx 5 minutes drive to a beaut sandy swimming beach.

We are situated in Waimate North, about 15 minutes from downtown Kerikeri.

My husband works on the dairy farm down the road and I am a jazz pianist and singer. I teach piano from here and go to schools a couple of days a week as well.

We need help with general property maintenance, vegetable garden digging, tilling and planting, and sharing in household chores like cooking or cleaning.

The right person could look at staying for a couple of months if it works out well for all of us.

My mum lives on the property too, we are Christians and have respect for your personal space and well-being.
We have a beautiful view of rolling hills and farmland from my house. It is very peaceful.

We keep chickens, a beehive, a very friendly dog who loves playing with a tennis ball (now two dogs)and a cat. There is also a big vegetable garden and avocado trees.

We look forward to meeting you! :-)

Small property 7km from Russell township. Friendly accommodation wanting help with gardens and cleaning. I am also looking to find 2 mature well presented people to work for 2 months December/January as housekeepers parttime. Previous experience would be great. The work is in private houses in beautiful surrounds. You would need a car. Work is guaranteed and but not full time which gives you the opportunity to find other work. I can help with this. A great opportunity to be employed in one of the best summer regions in NZ.

We have 620 Olive trees that we need help with harvesting and pruning. Lesley and I are both retired and although fit it is an easier task if we have help during harvesting in late April and when we prune the trees in the winter. Often throughout the year there could be other numerous ways in which we would appreciate some extra hands helping. No specific skills are required and we are happy to teach and work alongside our helpers so they have a useful learning experience.
Accommodation is provided in a self contained unit adjacent to the house. Set-up can be for a couple or for two singles. We provide all meals and accommodation in return for up to 5 hours work per day. You will have time to explore the beautiful Doubtless Bay area.

Hi!

My name is David, I am a sailor who is living in a beautiful village of Mangonui.

I have a project : a cottage and sailing boat I need artists, and people who love gardening to transform this place with lot of colours and atmosphere.

The job is : 4 hours per day for free accommodation or camping, lunch and diner ! Not many places but enough to have a lot of fun together! ....minimum stay one week !!
So, if you are friendly, smiling, with the will to share and interested to be part of this project you are welcome !!!

I like vegetables (I have a vegetables garden) and I eat a lot of fruits and healthy food. My priority to receive people is : cook together, made bread, spend time together, learn about each other, go fishing or get shellfish...

Your own car can be a help if you want to discover Northland ! Cap Rienga, Doubtless Bay, Kerikeri, Bay of Islands... and the far north!

Hope to see you soon !

David
