Hi,

We are very lucky to have a beautiful pocket of land set in the rolling hills of Devon, surrounded by stunning countryside. We are looking for help with various small projects. We're in Mid Devon and it's half hour drive to lovely beaches, 15 minutes into the historic city of Exeter and half hour to Dartmoor.

The land is a mixture of meadow bordered by traditional hedges, deciduous trees and has a lovely little stream running along one side. There gare 3 hectares in total, we have half and the other half belongs to friends. We are a small alternative community where everyone has their own home but come together for socialising around... more inside

Currently looking for 1 helper from 15th May till early July.
We are a small, family run, local food cafe/bistro on the island of St Martins in the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall. Most the food we sell is grown and produced on our smallholding and then freshly prepared in our kitchen. The cafe is open from April til October each summer (the main tourist season), but we sometimes take helpers on in the winter months to assist with farm and/or maintenance work, etc.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to help with all aspects...waiting tables, cleaning, cooking, helping out on the farm, ect. The majority of the work is front of house, waitressing and cleaning the premises but if there is an interest/capability we are happy to train longer term helpers to assist with the cooking or helping out on the farm. Helpers with experience with front of house work would be preferred but not essential. Looking for friendly, outgoing people who love good food and can provide servic... more inside

Are you available from end of April for a month or so? Have you got some gardening and DIY skills and do you like dogs/cats? Is your English of intermediate level or above? I am looking for a disciplined and hard-working person to help with the following: Taking care of animals occasionally, housework, cleaning, some cooking, running occasional Air BnB and various other jobs around the house and garden (painting, chopping wood, some furniture moving). Dog and cat are part of the family - so you need to like animals, not have any allergies etc. In return I can offer a nice environment, good, home-cooked food and help with your English as I am an English teacher. If you are preparing for an English exam or need better English for job applications, this could be a good opportunity for you. You would need to provide references either from the HelpX website or elsewhere. I look forward to hearing from you.

We have a delightful bungalow in the beautiful Devon countryside with a large garden and peaceful location.
My husband and I are friendly and would like someone to help us for a week or longer, until October, however we have June covered already.

Various projects we really need some help with include some painting indoors and outdoors, helping with our first vegetable patch, general gardening...thereís always weeds to pull out.
Organising our many wood piles, a little bit of housework and maintaining the caravan. It's mostly outdoors work, but it depends on the weather.
If you have computor skills you could help us with the odd thing that drives us crazy, but that's not as important to us as the outdoors/ garden jobs.
There's curtains to make if you are handy with the sewing machine.

Ideally we'd like 4 hours help a day with your weekends free. In exchange weíll provide your breakfast and lunch food to prepare in your caravan, and an evening meal with us in the bungalo... more inside

Hi, Welcome to Tregoss Barton and Outlandish Holidays !

We live in a large Cornish stone house. (I converted it from a barn in 2001/3) Set in about an acre of gardens, on the Lizard peninsular, almost as far south west as you can travel on the UK mainland.
Overlooking the sea, "Falmouth Bay", and just a short walk to the beach. It's really very beautiful.
The area in which we live has been farmed for many hundreds of years.

The main word at tregoss barton : Community.
We live together, work together, and you may have to share a room. Itís more than a team, itís a family.
You will meet people from all over the world, discover traditions, learn work skills and practice community life.
When you leave Tregoss Barton, you leave with memories for life, friends by your side and sometimes, love in your heart !
ę My experience at Jonathan 's place was one of the best experiences of my life. I spent 5 weeks in that amazing place with amazing people, I made friends which I hope... more inside
