We are a medium sized garden centre in the SW of Ireland that specializes in seaside plants and gardens. We have two polytunnels where we produce plants and vegetables that are suited to our local climate an. We also have an organic fruit and vegetable garden and are aestablishing a permaculture system at the moment.
On site are also two horses. My second profession is holistic hoofcare for horses.
We offer lots of different experiences: gardening (plant production and organic vegetable gardening) and holistic hoof and horse care!
Living with us (me and my 16 year old daughter) are the mentioned two horses Jess and Shimmer, our three dogs (Lucy, Lady and Patch) and four cats. We also have ducks and chickens.
We provide a large, bright and warm room for helpers in the house. All food is home cooked and is either provided by our own garden or sourced locally as much as possible.

Thanks for looking at our information!

We are a small, cosy and friendly 23 bed tourist hostel with real coal fires in BELFAST, near Queens University and Botanic Gardens.
My cheeky Jack Russell dog, Coco, visits the hostel regularly. The building is a lovely old Victorian style terrace.
It's a great base to explore the life of the city and the beauty of our lovely countryside (Giants' Causeway and Mourne mountains for example). Also.... you will get a chance to sail on the lovely Strangford Lough (May-Oct), go for hill walks etc ....

In exchange for volunteering, you will get a bed (in a 2 bed or 4 bed dorm) and meals!
Of course, there is free tea, coffee, laundry, internet use and a free Day Tour to the Giants' Causeway!

Work is all aspects of a hostel, CLEANING, changing beds, dealing with people...
We hope it's a great place to work and you will meet lots of good people. BUT, you have to be prepared to work! GOOD English is needed for the telephone.

Hope to ... more inside

Hello.
My name is Margaret. I live on a farm with my husband Pat. We are dairy farmers and both love farming. We have four adult children who live close by.
I am looking for a couple or friends in their mid twenties up; they need to like working with dogs, I have a licence for them. I would need help for the dogs (feeding, cleaning, washing and socialising) & other chores in addition to that would be helping around the house, some babysitting of a 4 year old grandchild. It is vital that the people coming have a certain level of English as no two days are the same so the routine is not always the same.
I would prefer a long term stay (2 months or more)
Working hours will be 4 hours in morning and 2 hours in evening for feeding and checking everything is ok.
Sat and sun are yer days off.

We always treat anybody that stays like family.
Good accommodation, good food, Sky tv, Wifi, laundry.

Our nearest village is only 1 mile away - there you will find a friendly pub, comm... more inside

Hi - We are a small homeschooling family who need help all year round. We are looking for creative, energetic artistic people who can work on own initiative, help when needed with whatever we are doing at the time. We prefer if you have experience working independently. We need people who have some skills in the area of carpentry, building, stone wall building or gardening. We also need help gathering wood, painting, digging and sometimes looking after the children for my weekly yoga class and the occasional cycle! We have just bought together with another family, 7 acres of stunning land in the Burren so will be mainly working there for September and October collecting stones, cutting hazel, clearing spaces - its hard work but the views are too good to be true!Use of a bicycle for those who like cycling around the area. We are near Lisdoonvarna on the road to Ballyvaughan very close to the Burren. There is a beach about 7 km nearby. It is a very beautiful rural area. We speak E... more inside

We are a small BnB with two rooms and a Glamping Tent that we hire out. I have started to make a Shepherd's hut and a shower room and could do with some help from somebody who has some basic carpentry skills and common sense. A couple would be ideal as we have a room with a double bed on offer. You can see our BnB on booking.com
