I have a 54 acres property sitting at the back of Mt Tarrengower and with picturesque views off the the Pyrennes Ranges. There are very large granite bolders and the property and within the surrounding area. It sits in the region of central goldfields, with old gold mines and a great artistic and interesting cultural community. I am finishing building a poured earth house, regenerating large areas back to bushland, and have 250 mature olive trees. I am able to show you around the area and enjoy the many sights and interesting features of the area. I have a good bird population, including kites and eagles and a large population of kangaroos. Maldon is a historic town and have festivals at different times of the year, including a folk festival in November.

We are a beautiful Buddhist temple and meditation retreat centre in the stunning Dandenong Ranges - one hour from the centre of Melbourne city. We have a community of 8-10 people who live onsite, including modern Buddhist monks and nuns.

We offer working visits at our temple - workers do 28 hours per week in exchange for free food and accommodation, and meditation classes and courses. The work ranges from gardening and cooking, to cleaning and office work - we are often preparing the centre for a retreat. Weekends are free to enjoy the natural surrounds, or to attend our meditation courses when they are scheduled.

Doing a working visit at our temple is an opportunity to deepen your experience of meditation and Buddhism in daily life. Volunteers generally come for a week, however longer stays can sometimes be arranged. The work, although not necessarily strenuous, is of a physical nature, so applicants need to be fit and well.

If you do not have a car we can arrange to pick... more inside

The block of land is in a semi-rural zone adjacent to Maroondah dam catchment and Yarra Ranges National Park. Only 5km east of the township of Healesville in the Yarra Valley which is a wine and grape region.
Healesville is a tourist town surrounded by mountains. The Healesville Sanctuary is about 7km away with many Australian native animals.

Home is owner built earth wall home that has solar hot water (wood heating in winter)and grid connected PV. It is situated in a small semi-rural subdivision on a no through road.
The property has many fruit trees and large organic vegetable patch and is self sufficient in firewood.

Hi, I need some help. I am looking for a person or preferably a couple to help that are able to painting and general tidying up. Work is 20 hours a week for accommodation with fully equipped kitchen. Food is not included. You can either work 4 hours a day for five days, or the 20 hours over 3 days and have the rest of the week to travel.

This is a B&B on 3 acres at Seymour. It is currently closed. The lodge faces the Seymour Racecourse and backs onto the Seymour Golf Course. It is 1.5km to a local bus stop and 3.5km to the train station (in the centre of town). The regular train service takes about 1hr 20mins to get to Melbourne. I drive past the train station most days. Services also go north to Albury and Sydney as well as to Nagambie and Shepparton. A bus service goes to Yea and Eilden. The spectacular Goulburn River Valley Rail trail that goes to Mansfield, is close by.
If you have a car, Seymour is centrally located to travel to most parts of Victoria and only 96km t... more inside

Hey there !
My name is Ahmed. I am originally from Egypt and I have been living in Australia for nearly 5 years.
I am sharing the house with 2 other housemates. One is a dentist and the other one is an IT guy. They are quite laid back and we are getting along well.
I am after musicians who can help me with guitar, keyboard or ukulele. I am a newbie to music playing.
Also, I may consider hosting people with special skills in cooking.
The house is in Maribyrnong which is around 30 mins tram trip to the CBD. You will have the couch in the living room to sleep on and I usually host short term.

We live in the beautiful bush in the hinterland of the Great Ocean rd. We are a family with a young child as well as older children who come and go. We have dogs and chickens and are happy for you to bring your dog too - as long as it is friendly and child and chicken proof! We are 5 minutes away from stunning Point Addis beach and in between Torquay and Anglesea if you need a town hit (10 mins either way).

The accommodation is in our converted 1961 Bedford bus and has a double bed and two (cosy) singles. It is super cute and comfortable. Meals are with us in the family home and in summer we dine al fresco of course.

Jobs include outdoor help with the large gardens; land care management with our weed program; indoor jobs like painting; helping to clean up building materials that we hope to use as part of our sustainable approach to building and renovating; wood collection and what ever else the seasons throw our way!

My Husband and I live here with 4 seperate cottages on 4.8 hectares natural bushland backing onto the Otways national forest. It is holiday accommodation.
We are 2km inland from the Great Ocean Rd at Aireys Inet and the lighthouse. The Great Ocean Rd is very popular with travellers. The 12 apostles are still are big attraction.
We would require general carpentry and landscaping work. If raining inhibits outside work we would have internal painting or cleaning that always seems to be needed.
Aprox time of time of work would be 9am - 3pm. Usually a lot earlier than 3.00pm. Lunch provided every day and dinner maybe two nights a week when I am not at work. Helpers can stay in a self contained cottage with their own kitchen, laundry bathroom etc. Depending on peak times we may need to accommodate you in a another cottage on site.
