Work for experience, accommodation and food on family owned cabbage, capsicum, pumpkin, potatoes and cattle farm is available. e. Helpers will be asked to assist with planting, growing and harvesting of small crops. They will have opportunity to learn how to operate farm machinery. Helpers will be also assisting with mustering and branding of cattle (if it happens to be the correct season for this during their stay.) Accommodation is a self contained livable shed beside the family home. Helpers will need to cook own meals,food supplied.
however there will be invites to join host family meals and barbecues. We will include helpers in outings which will allow them to experience the local sights and scenery. This may also include fishing trips to the reef, crabbing in estuaries, hunting or camping on freshwater river if the weather and time permits. I have a small modern apartment a few minutes from gold coast airport and a short walk to the white sandy beach :) 50mins from byron bay and 30 mins to surfers paradise. I am looking for helpers from time to time when i go away for short terms to look after feed and walk my dog. Must be good with dogs, respectful and responsible. Not a party house. I was a helper myself for years and enjoyed it so much i thought id give hosting a try. A small room and own amenities on offer, kitchen and living room shared. Free accomodation basically for some dog care and and a little cleaning.

Hi! we are looking for a motivated, hard working person (can consider a couple)with building experience to help us and to take the lead in upgrading a static caravan & building a carport over it for rain collection etc. We have a large family home on 12 acres of serenely quiet, eucalyptus native bush-land on a hillside in the Gold Coast Hinterland.(Called The Green Behind The Gold) The west views are over the Hinze Dam and looking east you can see the coast in the distance. We run a family owned and operated Brahman Stud, on a cattle property in the Nebo district, 250kms North West of Rockhampton and 200kms South West of Mackay in Queensland. The property boundary is on the Connors River, which is great for swimming and fishing. We are only four hours South of Airlie Beach which is a very popular tourist attraction for people wanting to snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef.
Own fully self contained accommodation is provided along with food and free internet. Apart from cattle work there may be some fencing and other general property maintenance jobs to do.
For the past ten years we have hosted many young people from all over the world and believe we learn just as much from them as they gain experience and knowledge from us. My husband speaks fluent Portuguese along with English of course.

Hi, looking for assistance in our chaotic family world. This involves kids, pigs, cows, chooks, dogs, fences, motorbikes, driving, and all general day to day life tasks. We live busy lives and need an extra pair of hands in any way we can get the help. We are within a small community in which we assist in the organisation of local events. We enjoy having a good time but work hard. We have high expectations for our kids but not enough eyes, voices and hands to stay on top of everything that needs doing.
This is beef country so our lifestyle may not suit a vegetarian.

We are a large outdoor education centre that works with domestic and international students and groups ranging from ages 5-21. We live in a 6 BDRM home, 1km from the beach, close to parks, short bus ride to the shopping centre. We work in the tourism industry and have a 6 year old son.Our son goes to school. We are looking for someone to live in and work 20hrs/ week in return for their board. This would entail, gardening, housekeeping and babysitting. You must love children. Welcome to Australia!
We own and operate a beef cattle station, running about 2,500 cattle, as well as goats, horses, pigs and poultry! We also do farm stays and other tourism ventures, so have lots of international visitors throughout the year.
We are looking for a person or persons who are able to assist us in cleaning and gardening around the homestead, the hospitality side of our business, and possibly helping in other areas of station life.
Working hours are flexible.
The homestead is on a river which is excellent for swimming, canoeing and fishing.
Accommodation and meals are provided, and are primarily meat based.
Own vehicle recommended, so you can explore the area.
We have hosted Wwoofers before, but are new to HelpX.

My husband and I and our 16 month old son live on an 11,000 acre cattle property "Old Rawbelle" 60km west of Monto, but along with family run a total of 100,000 acres. We are seeking help for 3-4 weeks minimum. One of our main jobs is to paint a new timber houseyard fence along with other odd jobs around the yard and in the paddock. We live in the main homestead but have a two bedroom self contained quaint cottage 100m from the house, with kitchen, bathroom, dining and living area with working television.
