NOTE: If you have recently sent me an email I may not have received it as I've had email problems. I have a new email now so please resend any communications you've had with me. Thank you very much.

I am living with Multiple Sclerosis (a degenerative brain condition).

I have been to Hungary to start Gerson Therapy, an intense therapy involving hyper alimentation and super detoxificaton. I need a lot of help with this and wondered if there were any helpexers out there who would be interested. Ideally two people, one for am (from 7am) and one for pm. It would be longish hours as I will probably need a freshly made juice every hour for 13 hours of the day plus lots of preparing fresh vegetables and other food.

I am generally cheerful, gregarious, and lively, but get very very tired. I live in a bungalow just about a twenty minute walk to the centre of Bath, a beautiful historic city in the South West of England. You can get trips to Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury... more inside

We presently need help for the last week of May and first two weeks of June, for some landscape gardening.

This is a vibrant family home of creatives! We work from home as artist, writer, woodworker, baker and gardener. We love to make, to bake, to cook, and grow vegetables. We run two small holiday accommodation areas, facilitate creative workshops in creativity, wood and bread baking. The art studio, wood workshop, a polytunnel, vegetable patches, cob bread oven in outdoor covered kitchen and sauna are all in constant use with regular baking days, art and wood projects on the go, and sometimes a sauna to end a fruitful day. We often have small building projects going on too.
We are looking for people who enjoy getting involved, can bring their own initiative and are willing to make a valid contribution. It would be a bonus if you were a confident gardener and had skills in natural build or carpentry. Smokers welcome but only smoke outside, please. Accommodation will be separ... more inside

Martin & I live in the Wolds area of Lincolnshire and are in the process of designing a half acre plot into a series of smaller gardens. We are both active, but still work and there are always projects afoot. There is gardening, both flower and vegetable, DIY jobs, decorating, in fact we do need help but nothing is that arduous!

Our farm is in semi rural Worcestershire about 3 miles from Worcester and 3 Miles from Malvern. At the moment there are 4 adults living here, me (Janne), my husband Will (you can see me and Will in one of the photos), Lucy, who looks after another farm (one of the photos is of Holywell on the farm) and her partner Stephan. We also host WWOOFers who work with Lucy on the farm, and stay with us in the house.
Will and I are founder directors of a place, which has a cafe preparing food grown on the farm, Designer maker studios a therapy centre and the farm, and we spend most of our time working there.
I am looking for help mostly around my home and garden, but it might include helping the centre or on the farm too.
You will stay with us in the rambling old farmhouse as a member of the family and in exchange for working 6 hours a day 5 days a week you will get full board. We work communally helping each other and taking turns.

We run a B&B from our family house which, now the children have left home, we have converted into B&B accommodation. There are 2 letting rooms in the house and an annexe which provides self-catering accommodation. It is at the end of a small village, 2 miles from the nearest town.
We aim to provide a friendly, relaxed service for our guests 'Home from home'. We have always had excellent reviews and we would expect that to continue.
The duties involve setting up, cooking and clearing up breakfast, cleaning rooms, changing, washing & ironing bedding, greeting guests on arrival and departure.

Hi due to an unsuccessful foot operation I could really do with a couple or two friends to help me out on my smallholding. Mainly weeding very grassy veg beds and general tidying. Not very exciting work but you'll be well looked after. Our helpers work no more than 4hrs a day 5 days a week. Sorry we don't accept smokers and you must like dogs.

Help with cooking is always appreciated although this year we are moving towards being pescatarian (veggie but with fish).

Our helpxers make their own breakfasts and lunches and then we all sit down in the evening for a meal together 7 days a week. You are free to prepare a packed lunch if you are going out on your days off. We have a couple of bicycles although the ladies one isn't great.

Sorry, for various reasons we don't accept single travellers with the exception of people who have chain saw skills.

We look forward to welcoming new friends for 2015.

*I am now booked until October* * I have an interesting opportunity available for hosting two or three people split between our Canal Cottage not far from London, and a house in Cardiff within walking distance of the vibrant centre of the Welsh Capital city, starting around the end of October. In the latter location, we need people to prepare, decorate and generally tidy up a house. We would take you between the two locations and supply food etc at both. We are likely to be about in Cardiff some, but possibly not all, of the time so are therefore seeking independent, responsible and reliable people, ideally with references and experience in painting and decorating. If you're interested and have any questions, please contact me ASAP as I usually book up fast*

I'm looking for help indoors and out in our Canal Cottage by the Grand Union Canal, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty in the Chiltern countryside, within easy access of London. As you may realise, the Google map i... more inside
