Hello. We're a small family of three who live in Castlemaine which is an interesting, friendly, thriving country town with a progressively-minded community in Central Victoria, 90 minutes by train to Melbourne.

We like simple healthy living. We don't have a car - we get everywhere by bike and public transport. We don't watch television and like being outside in nature. It's beautiful around here :)

Mainly we need help with our seriously adorable two year old girl - basically a baby sitter so we can have some time together.

We are looking for someone who is alternatively minded and would prefer someone who's native language is not English so that they can sing to our child in their mother-tongue :)

We look after quite a lot of honeybees so it would be nice to find someone that has an interest in learning about and helping with that.

Hope to hear from you.

Hi There

We are located on a small family farmlet just off the Anglesea Rd, which is the beginning of the Great Ocean Road just Sth of Geelong, We are about halfway between Geelong and the Surfcoast. 10 mins to all the major shops/stores and 15 mins to the beaches. 70 mins to Melbourne

We are looking to initially provide a place where people can base themselves using their own accommodation - Camper/Tent/Van etc. And in exchange we will provide power, water, toilet,Shower, internet and bbq, firewood and firepit and access to what ever produce is growing in the gardens/orchards at the time. Eventually we want to have some permanent accommodation here to provide for you to use.

Because of this we think between September and May is a good climate and apt time for us to host.

We are after a hand from from some self starters, that need minimal supervision in maintaining the existing garden, orchard, vineyard, and some work with cattle and firewood collection, but also hel... more inside

September 29 - October 8.
Spring in Woodend! We live on a property in the Macedon Ranges, which is an hour from Melbourne. it is a beautiful area - lots of great walks and bike rides. We have a large garden and animals. There is also a seperate bed and breakfast cottage on the property.

We would love some help with gardening, building a net enclosure for a blueberry patch. We also need a shed painted and other odd jobs. For food and accommodation we would be asking for 5-6 hours of work a day. We enjoy cooking and eat delicious fresh food. The hours can be flexible. We live just 3kms out of the township of Woodend but we are close to a train station. It's a lovely small town with good cafes, bookshop, library, etc.
We are a family of 4 with a large, comfortable house. There are bikes you can use and internet access. We have a dog, no cats (in case you are allergic) And please note we are a non-smoking household. Accommodation is a room in our lovely sunny house.

We are looking for volunteers to work on our permaculture farm in Maldon, Victoria. We are based only 5km from the local town where transport can be arranged for volunteers to come and go as they please. We have had volunteers (with 2 still at the moment) get paid work within the local town. We also cater to large parties/weddings which has resulted in our volunteers getting paid work during these events.

We provide comfortable accommodation, more food than you can eat. Volunteers are welcome to come and go as they please in our family home where we have unlimited free wifi, a personal computer and a landline phone that has free calls to anywhere in Australia.

We have proudly been hosts for almost 20 years, and love sharing our culture and lifestyle. Exchange is the key word involved with the expectation of exchanging between 4-6 hours per day of energy for lodgings. This can be flexible and fits around the regular farm routine of the hosts.

Hello AND WELCOME

I have a new house and it is very comfortable inside. 3 bedroom and private bathroooms. There is not much to do in the garden except weeding and if you able to plant some plants that is helpful. Certainly a stronger guy to put in move woodchips to the front garden would be great.

Ballarat is a great place and there are plenty of things to see and do. Or just be quiet and walk in the forestry at the back of my house.

****************WE ARE CURRENTLY BACK IN CANADA, SO WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY MORE HELPERS************

Hello everyone!!! Your stay with us is going to be incredibly awesome if you so choose to help x at our house! :)

We are 5 housemates living in an older house in a little place called Williamstown. It's a beautiful suburb that started here back in 1850 and is a hot spot during the summer as we are a foot into the Bay, which means we are surrounded by ocean and it only takes a couple minutes walk to get to the beach. At night there are pubs open late during the summer and can get quite crowded during the day on the beaches.

We are about a 25 minute train ride from the CBD. So, getting into the city is not hard and can be easily accesible at any time of day. The last train back into Willi leaves around midnight but if you like the nightlife you can always stay out til the trains start in the morning OR a taxi ride is not expensive if you're sharing it with a group.

Torquay
Denis Ryan (76), lives at this wonderful beach house retreat. The house is a 4 bedroom property with two bathrooms, open plan living, spacious kitchen with all mod cons. The deck and garden are superb and offer peace and quiet around the property and is very low maintenance due to the clever planting of natives and flowering shrubs. It is a haven for exotic birds & possums.

In exchange for 4 hours a day, one day off a week, you will be accommodated in a comfortable, light and airy bedroom, with use of one of the two bathrooms.

You need to have a clean driving licence and be able and willing to use the car for necessary trips. These might include taking husband Denis (who's wheelchair bound) to the local swimming pool for his class and picking him up again just outside of Geelong in Grovedale. As Denis was a keen surfer it may mean driving to checkout the waves at Bells or wherever.

To enjoy the beach is a 5mins walk , 5 mins walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, lov... more inside
