We are looking for someone with a car first and foremost as driving will be a large part of the work. We are based in Lower Salthill and make frequent journeys to Mayo (near Achill) where we have a family home. Sometimes you would be required to stay there for a few days. We also have pets (cats and dogs) so there is a certain amount of dog walking at times. Other than that and if there s not much driving in any particular week then we would ask you to help with general cleaning, gardening and painting.
Please don t respond unless you have a car/van

We are in a great location ...3 min walk from the sea and 10 min walk into the city near Spanish Arch.

I live in a remote location with a wonderful view of the mountains 30 minutes drive from Blessington where I have my bookshop.

This is a haven for anyone who enjoys mountain walks and starry skies without light pollution. There is wifi but very bad mobile phone signal.

It would be really great to have someone to stay who is interested in gardening as I have no knowledge in this area. In particular I have some amazing granite which I have been told could be transformed into a alpine garden ....

There is an acre of hill with a stream behind the house so anyone who could advise on how to install Hydro Electricity would be particularly welcome.

Last but not least, I could always use help organizing events in the bookshop.

I have an honours degree in English Literature and 10 years bookselling experience - it would be a pleasure to find books that a student of English (whatever level) would enjoy.

We are looking for two (or possibly three) hardworking helpers to help with our large vegetable garden (12 beds) and a polytunnel. Work would include weeding, clearing timber, cutting brambles; building cloches, painting, clearing sheds, general outside clean-up etc. Carpentry / DIY expertise would be helpful, but not essential. Ideally we would like to welcome a couple or two friends (mid-twenties and up) who donít mind sharing a double bed and need to be able to work independently on occasion. Non-smokers preferred.
