This is a historic area - the run is situated 8 kms from Omeo and close to the winter snowfields of the Victorian high country. We are running predominantly Hereford cattle and merino/border leicester/poll dorset sheep.

There are lots of events happening year round in Omeo www.omeoregion.com.au from Packers High Country horse riding www.horsetreks.com to trout fishing, rodeo, bush horse races and the local cattlemen take on the city slickers in the Geebung V's Cuff'n'Collar Polo match at Cobungra Station.

Ideally the helpx would have farming experience with stock and farm related chores. Someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get 'stuck in', from farmwork, to gardening, to fencing to making a meal.

We offer in house accommodation. This district is home to the Mountain Cattlemen www.mcav.com.au and their history defines the high country. 'Jamunjie' is a beautiful, wild country run and worked by a young couple Partick and Michelle.

This is a DRUG FR... more inside

We live a block away from the gorgeous Castlemaine Botanical Gardens and the Australian bush is at the end of our street from our beautiful old Victorian home in the heart of Castlemaine, Victoria. Lots of art and galleries to explore in town and only a 1.5 hour train trip to Melbourne. We are a small family with young children and pets and we would very much like to open our lovely home to share with someone who can assist with the work around the house. The person would have their own bedroom and lots of flexibility to travel and explore. We particularly need help with painting, fence building and weatherboard fixing.

Large four to five bedroom beach share with a converted garage-shareroom as the fifth-sixth room!

For short stays there is no routine full time labor, rather chores might include weeding or mowing the lawn or washing the windows or even taking the bus to kmart to get weed killer if I've forgotten it or being here to welcome paying guests (e.g. through airbnb).

For longer stays I often need a house manager or an assistant house manager. This requires a mix of skills and flexibility (but sometimes can pay a little!) so please send me a CV if you can or contact me so we can exchange some messages!

To be quite honest I'm a terrible cook so I would welcome anyone who likes to exercise their domestic goddess skills!
We live in a mudbrick home on 3/4 of an acre in beautiful East Warburton. My children and I lead a busy life in peaceful surroundings.
We are 10mins drive out from the township of Warburton, and about 1hr an half drive from the city of Melbourne. Although there are three buses a day to the top of our street, I highly recommend you have your own form of transport. The Yarra Valley offers many delights, but frequent public transport is not one of them.
From Buddhist temples to skate parks and snow, there are many local attractions, but truly the most wonderful is to be in the mountains, with the river flowing near and towering gums.

We would offer a small room with a double bed. I will supply food, and free wifi. Currently I am renovating our spare bathroom, so we would share the one bathroom. We are non smoking and drug free.
We also have a very large dog, ... more inside

I am looking for help at home with my daughter with special needs in return for accommodation. There is not a lot involved -just to be around really. She goes to school in the day time. There will be some times required to sit with her on occasions as agreed. Person must be trust worthy and reliable- that is all I ask. Most times will be free to do & see what you like.
