Hi, My name is Michelle. I am originally from Scotland but have been living in Ireland for over 20 years now. I am new to this and want to try it out as I am really busy caring for my mum and dad at the moment who live nearby.
I am looking for help with some cleaning, cooking, preparing food, painting, walking two dogs, generally any little things I may need help with around the house.

I am offering free accommodation, a warm room with a double bed, and three meals a day in exchange for 3-4 hours work 5 days a week, giving you weekends off. I am not vegetarian but have no problem with anyone who is and this can be worked around.

Smoker's are welcome but must smoke outside as I have recently give them up.

I can't say I can take you very far on trips as I may be busy with my parents and other things. It is just hard to say if that would be possible or not right now. There are buses nearby anyway and you will have lots of spare time. I have free internet and a computer I ca... more inside

We are renovating a large house and have need of help- all sorts of building and labouring work including demolition, painting and decorating, gardening, or just help with cleaning and cooking would be appreciated. As is usual with helpx volunteers we expect 4 hours work in exchange for accommodation and meals, ( mostly vegetarian) but you get Sundays off ( or another day). We live in a beautiful area near lakes and hills swimming and canoeing possible, and we do lots of irish dance- happy to take volunteers with us! The accommodation is not luxurious but the welcome is warm, we speak english and french fluently. We can only take volunteers from mid july to end August this year because of our work committments. We have no reviews under our Irish site but have plenty of reviews from our French visitors last year- see Moulin de pratx at Couiza

We are a family who have set up our garden to produce our own organic fruit. I am a single mother and I need help around the house as well as in the garden.
I could really do with some help over the next few weeks. My daughter Maisie aged 11 wants her room painted and decorated. She has a lovely design and colour scheme, but she needs some help. I have a lot of art to get done over the next few weeks also.
We have two dogs and a cat that live in and around the house.
Special skills: painting would be marvelous!!
We are offering a really nice room and all the organic vegetarian food you can eat!! Only lovely friendly happy people please.

I live in a medium-sized house with a small garden, overlooking the sea. I live there alone... well, with two cats... and it's nice and near to town. There are lots of other Helpx, WWOOF hosts in this area. Personally, I'm newly on AirBnB so maybe I'll ask for help preparing for guests. I want to prepare a veggie garden, maybe experiment with raised beds. Lots of container gardening this summer I hope. I also might have cat-caring duties for you ;)... or a bit of exterior painting... Nothing major anyway, I will enjoy the company you provide. It would be nice to share some crafty pursuits.. I like the idea of renovating furniture with milk and chalk paints and re-selling... maybe doing some summer markets. You can chill out a bit if you are already on the road a long time, maybe? As for food and lodgings... I mostly eat veggie, and I don't want to party all the time, so please be mature and open to compromise and we will figure it out.

We are a family of 5, with three children age 11,16 and 17. We do not have a farm but are in the process of developing a fruit and vegetable garden. We have two cats, a pony, a goat and chickens. We are looking for help to do some ground work in the garden and clear overgrown areas. This will involve digging and moving stones and rocks and will be hard manual work. We would prefer helpers who are age 23 or over. We are also looking for help with spring cleaning, painting and tidying up inside and outside
Helpers should be mature, reliable and capable of working without supervision. Our house is located 3 miles from Ennistymon, 6 miles from Lahinch beach and 10 miles from Ennis. There is an infrequent bus route past the house. We have a separate flat, which has a double and a single bed. You would be expected to work 4-5 hours 5 days a week (flexible). Meals/food will be provided on days you are working.

This is a very popular hostel located on the beautiful Ring of Kerry. Situated in the busy market town of Cahirciveen, the hostel is the ideal base for all visitors to the area (e.g. Skelig Rock). Our famous welcome, excellent facilities and proximity to a host of historical and natural amenities, combine to make every visit to the hostel, one people will never forget.

It is a 31 bed facility and is IHH / Failte Ireland approved. We are looking for somebody to work as part of our team, starting asap. The ideal person is outgoing and personable, who will enjoy making our guest's visit as memorable as possible. They should enjoy working on their own initiative when required and good English is necessary.

Ideal place for CAMPER VAN/CARAVAN PEOPLE! Very beautiful out of the way location with lots of space. I am currently upgrading accommodation so space is limited! You need to be independent and reliable and very motivated! Although in the back of beyond, there's a great community around, I also have wwoofers here as do my neighbours down the road. There are 2 bicylces with great places to cycle walk run and jump to! Also a great area for traditional Irish music as well as 4 donkeys, 3 ducks, 37 ex battery hens, a dog, 3 cats and many bees...won't suit folks with allergies to any of these! Must be an animal lover!! Hard work but great fun. Food mainly vegetarian, tho we eat venison which comes fresh from the land, eggs from the ducks & hens and lotsa weeds from the garden!
Work includes animal care; building using traditional building materials; rebuilding a clay oven; gardening with love and care, and generally enjoying being here as well as chopping and collecting wood, and all the ... more inside
