You will need your own van for sleeping, but we own an organic green grocer so eat only the best food.

We aren't yet gardening our site as we are completing the house build with hemp.

We would like you to work with us for about 4 hours per day to complete this work which is very easy but requires many hands to make the job efficient.

Our house sits in a picturesque valley with creek frontage, kangaroos, wallabies, echidna, kookaburra and many native birds. No dogs or cats are allowed in this EcoVillage so the wildlife are very safe.

We are 12 minutes from the best beach on the Gold Coast(the Currumbin "Alley") and you can access all of the exciting coastal attractions close by.

Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Cheers Paul and Kylie

I believe that I am one of the lucky people who live in a special place in the landscape. I purchased my farm many years ago in a desperate and degraded state and have transformed it into an arcadia. The challenge is to now make a responsible living from the land and I hope to do so by thinning out my abundant forests and selling the wood as boards. Wood is a most wonderful and beautiful product and I try to use it where ever I can and this is my project here.
I believe in reverence to Nature and is what we need to work with to save us humans and the planet. Consequently I lead a rustic life where Nature is greatly appreciated.
I like visitors who are broadminded and who have a respect for Nature. I also like people who are creative and I'd welcome anyone who has some project like writing or art that they would like to work on or someone who just wants to commune with Nature. Maybe they could camp in the jungle cave for a night or my small hut. l have even written a manuscri... more inside

July 2017 - We're sorry but we are not looking for anyone at the moment. If you would like to stay and pay, please read last paragraph.

We purchased our beautiful property just over 2 years ago and are looking for people to help us with some gardening, weeding, stick picking, general outdoor maintenance and maybe a little housework. I work at a school during the week, while Don maintains and works on our property.

We require 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday and weekends off), though we can be flexible with the working hours, so you can work full days and have other days off or work mornings with afternoons free etc.

At the moment we are mainly looking for helpers for outdoor, manual work - stick picking and clearing/cleaning up bushy areas, weed spraying, a bit of fence repairs, general outdoor work etc. Now is the perfect time to be working outdoors in Queensland. Our cooler months are spectacular.

We will supply food for your breakfast and lunc... more inside

Our beautiful property is surrounded by cattle pastures on 3 sides and a National Forest on the 4th side. On the border of our property, large, majestic gum trees line the crystal clear creek where platypus live. We are on the Atherton tablelands, so the weather is temperate all year round. This is a family home where we have lived for 20 years. Your accommodation consists of a private room with a double bed or a room with two beds and a bathroom shared with the family. We need help with garden and home maintenance. We have 2 dogs who are our children and live in close contact with us. Lots of birds visit us, and at night bettongs graze our front yard. We provide excellent meals. Work expectation is 25 hours per week with 2 days off. We will pick up from Atherton.
