My uncle Jack is looking for help on his dairy farm. It's pretty small as dairy farms go nowadays. It's a quiet time of year so just a bit of help. You won't be alone as he will have a full-time farm hand with him.

He's a laid back man in his early 60's who appreciates a good chat. House is warm and comfortable. Typical rural ireland farm experience. He has hosted a lot in the past.

I'm his nephew and live nearby. I can help with any questions, or you can call his mobile.

We operate a modern dairy + free-range poultry farm in County Limerick, Ireland which also has an emphasis on renewable energy. Richard farms and Imen is a food/travel writer & blogger who is in the process of writing her first cookbook which will be published in the USA/IRELAND/UK next Autumn. We have a kitchen garden + laying hens. I (Imen) am looking for assistance with recipe testing, food styling, and general admin help with creative assignments for my food blog and various magazines. Also, vegetable + flower beds and garden maintenance. There are always some house improvement or farm carpentry projects if you possess those skills or have an interest in that. Apprenticing in the farmyard is an option. You can learn about renewable energy on our farm as well. We have one child (boy, 9 years old) and two outside dogs. The accommodation is a lovely private room with double bed & en suite bathroom, with separate entrance. 5 hours/per day, 5 days week, but we are flexible. Look forw... more inside

I'm looking for a person with good English to meet & greet clients, take bookings, cleaning, turning 1 bnb room, assist in workshops and product production. The peron/s will have to cook for themselves (we do not facilitate special dietary requirements). Hi!

Welcome to 55 acres of wood and moorland in the mountains of Kerry near Kilgarvan, Kenmare.

We're creating a sustainable camping experience with space to run courses here in the woods. Plans are to make both yurts and tipis, tend to the woods and work towards being open in the spring!

Looking for enthusiastic individuals to come and enjoy the space here and to put some energy into the new dwellings:) Food and a bed in the house in exchange for morning or afternoon's work, one of the jobs will be to help build a small yurt for future volunteers.

Especially looking for anyone with sewing skills or who would love to learn them!

Smokers welcome, look forward to hearing from you!

I am taking on the restoration and regeneration of The Narrows in Portaferry on the shores of Strangford Lough. Once a vibrant hotel, it was derelict, vandalised and boarded up for 6 years. This abandoned building has been a wasted resource for Portaferry, Strangford Lough and Northern Ireland but I, Celia Spouncer has begun a fresh start and story for part of this lovely building looking out over the Strangford Lough Narrows. The vision - to bring back this formerly award winning building as a boutique guesthouse; micro cheese making; organic garden producing produce for kitchen; centre for local SLOWfood events; Slow Living skills; music, dance, the arts and an ecology focus for Strangford Lough and the Ards Peninsula. Work is varied - painting, helping with garden and cafe/pop-up restaurant, IT skills, sewing and upcycling. I live here with my husband David who is an ecologist, my son Sebastian 15years old who is studying Spanish and my daughter Orlagh 20 years old who is studyin... more inside

A female volunteer experienced in child care, to mind a young child at home and help out in daily house work including cooking.
Working hours are flexible, few hours per day, weekends mostly off. Driving licence would be beneficial, for possible trips to/from kindergarten.
Location in pretty lively village of Schull, a popular area near the sea, easy access to nearer bigger towns by bus.
