Small Olive farm with Trullo and Lamia accomodation within cycling distance of Alberobello.

My wife & I are seeking help with tree pruning ( about 70 trees) and grass cutting in 2012. The pruning will be late March/April and grass cutting late May.

You will only be expected to help when we are working, so it will not be 'back breaking' with days off to visit surrounding towns/area

Comfortable accomodation with en-suite facilities.

We are a resort with accommodation, campsite, diving center, restaurant, bar and supermarket.

We are located right by the sea on the Amalfi coast between Capri and Positano, a few kilometers from Sorrento.

We need helpers for the following tasks:

- in September/October for olive harvesting;

- in the winter period (from November to March) for general maintenance; and

- in the summertime (from April to September) for day to day resort/campsite duties.

We are a multi-lingual family-run business and we are looking for sociable, responsible people who are able to deal with a variety of jobs.

In return for a 5 hour working day 5 or 6 days a week we can offer self-catering accommodation on site and food (supplied from the restaurant when it is open (April to mid-October) or from the supermarket when the restaurant is closed).

Someone who likes both working outside in the garden and in the house would be ideal.

We are located near Palombara Sabina and there is a railway station where there is a direct link to Rome and Flumcino airport nearby. On your free days we encourage you to explore the medieval villages nearby or travel to Tivoli, Rome or Naples.

This is a fairly new work-in-progress, with approximately 150 olive trees and about 5 hectares of mixed grassland and forest. Most of the work needed involves installation of fence posts and wooden terracing, but a great deal of organic farming work is also needed. Some of the jobs are as mundane as weed-whacking high grass or riding around in a riding mower on the flat ground. The hardest jobs involve ripping out briar. The main house is two-level, recently renovated with large kitchen and all facilities including hot tub outside under the sky. We are 1-hour from the center of Rome.
