We have a lifestyle block in the Kauaeranga valley that requires some attention removing pest plants such as gorse and wolley nightshade and possibly some work in the vegetable garden. I'm thinking a couple of weeks maybe longer would be good but if you can only do a few days thats good as well, 3 to 4 hours a day but flexible if you want to do extra one day and have a day off the next thats ok. I will work alongside you so we can get these jobs cleared and still be smiling at the end :)

If this sounds like the sort of work you are willing able and happy to do we can provide good meals and comfortable spare room in our family home. We also have a sauna and spa pool you're welcome to use. We don't take life too seriously so a good sense of humour will help :D
We are located by the river great for swimming and close to many walking and bike tracks not far to the beach for that day off!

Must be good around animals we have dogs, cats, cows and sheep.
must be non smoker.

We are a couple living on the eastern Coromandel Peninsula in Hikuai, about a 10 minute drive from Pauanui and Tairua. We often need help in and around the house for jobs like gardening, painting, cleaning, firewood, hedgecutting etc. We try to fit in with your job preferences and skills and working hours can be flexible. We would expect you to work 4 hours per night’s stay and in return we offer a stay in a beautiful rural location with views of farmland and the Coromandel ranges. Tairua, Pauanui and Opoutere and their beautiful white sandy beaches and estuaries are just a 10 minute drive away. There are lots of outdoor activities you can do in our area such as beach walking, swimming or hiking. We also have a couple of bicycles you can use to cycle into the valley, bush and goldmine area or try out the new cycleway between Hikuai and Pauanui.
We will provide 3 meals a day (with or without meat) and most of the fruit and vegetables will be from our own organic garden.

Urgently looking for helpers for 3 day event from 14th December. Please phone 07-8684570 if interested (dinner & accommodation everyday included for this fun fun FUN event)

Also looking for helpers around Christmas and all of January :)

Hello,

We operate a family camping ground & are located alongside the Tapu River in the valley on the Tapu Coroglen Road (Tapu side). There are multiple beautiful swimming holes all around us as well as the beach just being 2 minutes down the road.

Our water comes from the mountain above us, we recommend you boil water or fill up from the Main house. The water you swim is, is the same you shower in. Right back to nature.

We are looking for helpers to help around our camping ground in exchange for a camping space where you use your own sleeping arrangements (e.g Campervan, sleeping vehicle, tent) & we cook dinner every 2nd night :)

We have a communal BBQ, Pizza Oven & modern bathrooms.

This is a 1.7 acre property in a secluded valley 5 minutes out of Thames. We have two small orchards, lawns and some flower gardens. The property is in a very peaceful and safe location. We need help with gardening, weeding, mowing lawns, cleaning and also, if the helper is skilled in this area, small painting and carpentry jobs.

We offer free accommodation and all meals in exchange for 3 hours work a day. Thames is situated at the base of the Coromandel peninsula. It is a vibrant and thriving small town close to beaches, bush, walks and a bike trail. We have some rather vintage bikes you can borrow, but there is also an electric bike hire business in town. We are also open to longer term stays with additional paid work if that works out.

I live in the middle of beautiful, sunny, tranquil valley, surrounded by covenanted bush with a creek running through our land, 15 minutes from Hot Water Beach. Apart from care-taking for the bush, we are building creative gardens and out-buildings.
I need one or two people to join us to help with house work, including cooking, maintaining vegetable gardens and orchard (weeding). Also in building a "Memorial Garden" for my wife Mirjam, who sadly passed away in August. Knowledge of alternative power sources (solar, hydro, etc) is welcome. Also tracks through the bush need to be maintained.
Please bring your strength, enthusiasm and peaceful cooperative attitude.
Our place is an eco retreat, drug and alcohol free and strictly non smoking.
we offer you lovely, clean private accommodation and wholesome vegetarian meals.
