Hi, we're looking for people who would help me, Aengus, mind our two young children while they're mother, Gwen, is away at work four days a week. The rest of the time you, or whoever, would be free to do as you/they please.

We live on the edge of an area known as connemara, near a small town called Oughterard and about half an hour by car outside of Galway city, which is one of the most cultural rich and vibrant places I know of in Ireland.

Where we live and the surrounding countryside is postcard perfect Ireland, and what one might still consider traditional in a modern Irish way.
Oughterard in true Irish fashion has many more pubs then one might think it should need and a choice of churches to help with any sins that they couldn't help wash away. But unlike most it also has a library, art exhibition space and is famous for the great wild fishing of lake Corrib.
Galway city is small by most European standards at around 100,000 people, it is bustling with activity, with a st... more inside

We are currently looking for good hard-working people who would be interested in helping run a small island coffee shop and everyday jobs of maintaining a hostel. Basic English will be needed. Looking for both male and female volunteers, couples also welcome for longterm or short term positions. All food and staff sleeping quarters included. Below is some info of our accommodation and for further details please visit our website.

The Great Blasket Island is a remote island situated off the west coast of Dingle, Co.Kerry (referred to as most westerly point of Europe). Helpers shall lodge in one of the newly renovated house at the top of the old island village. There is little to no electricity on the island, so it is a real authentic Irish experience, otherwise described as one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Hello helpers,
In particular looking for a couple who are looking to live in a caravan with fireplace in nature for a longer period of time.
We are two humans, artists, teachers and students of life who are on a journey together most of the time. We have created a place called the Octopus's Garden-House of Encounter, a place for people looking for real exchange in nature to meet.
We are looking for people who are happy to take this experience a day at a time.

This means we can arrange arrival dates but not the exact length of your stay. At the moment we take people for 5 days with the possibility to come back after a two day break if there is enough work and interest.
We often meet people in Galway for a tea first .

This is an attempt to create an alternative way of living that is based on authenticity, is closer to nature and people's needs, also with the help of technology.

The way we live here cou... more inside

I'm Elizabeth and recently I have had some helpX-ers working with me in restoring the gardens, back and front. Current work-in-progress is a carpentry job - constructing a 'laundry shelter' so I can dry my clothes outdoors. Gardening work is now mostly maintenance - deadheading and weeding, watering and feeding. There is now an on-going task of keeping the deck-surface treated and some of the decking boards now need to be replaced.
Other carpentry tasks are still outstanding.
Finally, I need small walls built and plastered around the fuchsia beds. This work is weather-dependent and will have to be done mid-winter before the fuchsia's start to grow again in late February

The accommodation I offer is a room, with TV and internet, and I would like you to work an average of 4 hours a day (28 hours over the week) Since some work is outdoors I need a person who is flexible depending on the weather. My helper will have taken English lessons and will have experience in understanding an... more inside

Currently looking for a self motivated person or couple to help us run our busy guesthouse and water sports centre. Ideally we would like you to stay for a minimum of 6 weeks. Ideally a couple as it can be lonely for one person on their own. We only have accommodation for one couple sharing a double bed or a single person.

We are 3 miles from the nearest village and 20 miles from the nearest large town. Public Transport isn't good so having your own car would be ideal otherwise Bikes are available.

We need help inside with cleaning rooms and cooking, outside with gardening, painting boats and general maintenance.

Plenty of opportunity to fish, sail, windsurf, canoe, water-ski or wake board. We are an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) teaching centre running courses in power boat handling etc.

Accommodation, which has its own entrance has a room with a small kitchen, TV/DVD player, a double bed and en suite bathroom. Meals are provided along with free wifi in exchange... more inside

Spend a Holiday with us on our farm, and learn how to live of your own land!
We are a Family of 5. Our son Dominik works at Sea or with us on the farm. Our daughter Mara lives on fhe farm with her 3 year old son Kaemon and our 21 year old son Joshua is traveling australia at present
We live on our small oasis of piece and nature close to the charming Village Sneem on the Ring of Kerry, on the north side of the Kenmare Bay.
We started our little homestead 20 Years ago. We have a dairy cow, pigs, poultry, bees, a large fruit orchard, a blueberry field, and a vegetable tunnel. The farm is managed with values for nature, beauty and harmony. Produce is largely for home use only, even so we started selling fruit last year as our blueberry crop was overwhelming.
We offer 3h farm tours for groups/families, showing them the animals, how to make butter and scones and candles. We also run courses in blacksmithing, cheese making and woodturning.

We are looking for volunteers that... more inside
