We are a guesthouse (picture 1) - especially for handicapped people - cognitive and physically (pic 6). This house has got all in all 17 beds in 10 rooms (pic 2).
We (pic 4) are living in Trebel close to Nemitzer Heathland (pic3), this is a village of 300 citizens. So you got the opportunity to experience the countryside in between Hamburg, Hannover and Berlin.
We are looking for people (couples are also welcome), who like gardening and helping our caretaker. (Minimum time of stay 21 days) Perhaps help in the kitchen will be needed. To work in the service and with our guests it is necessary to speak at least a little German, not in the garden and kitchen. We hosts speak English.
We are glad to have an experienced helper, named Christine, who coordinates and looks after other helpers.

Hello!
After a fire destroyed our house two years ago we are just in the process of rebuilding our hostel and holiday home "mundi" in northern Germany, 5 minutes from the nature reserve Lueneburger Heide and about 30 Minutes to Lueneburg and 40 to Hamburg. Also we run a homeopathic clinic for animals (and humans) and have a horse. We would be happy about help setting up the garden (plastering), with cleaning the hostel and holiday homes as well as help in the garden and household.
We have been living for a while in New Zealand - so our English is quite good - and we love to have guests and meet people from all over the world.
So we love to hear from you!
Sanne & Peter

Our family, Leigh from England (39), Babs (33), Cian (4) and our cat Fin live right next to a beautifull beech forest in the south of Germany.

We have bought this beautifull piece of land about 2 years ago and have been busy renovating the house and the annex as environmentally friendly as possible.

We are looking for PROACTIVE people who are open-minded and easy-going, at the same time enjoy sharing their support with us. We really want people who want to help and cooperate with us. If you 'just' need a cheap place to stay then please don't contact us.

There are different tasks we would be happy to share with you:
Building (like making clay walls, etc)
Household (cooking and washing up dishes)
Playtime with son Cian

A couple of intersting points for you to know:
- we mostly cook vegetarian
- we ask for 3 - 6 hrs work a day
- 1-2 days off per week

About us ...
we have both travelled to many different countries and love to exchange stories about adventures. ... more inside

Hi, my name is Sylvia and I'm Dutch. After having lived for the majority of my life in cities I wanted to roam around with Helpx, so I did. I fell in love with the first place where I stayed, many years ago. A very small rural village in Bavaria, Germany, at the Czech border. I rented the huge house and intend to stay here, with my little dog, for the rest of my life.

It’s a beautiful hilly area and the forests invite for long walks in which you may spot deer and boars and other animals. You’ll need a warm coat and sturdy shoes. Public transport ends in Weiden (train) or Lohma (bus), but I have a car, can pick you up and drop you off.

Plenty to see within reasonable distance like Nürnberg, Regensburg, München, and Prague. Ski and snowboard center at 7 km distance and lots of others a bit further away. In the holiday season, Christmas markets can be found everywhere.

You will have your own room (with wifi) and bathroom, and you are welcome to the rest of the house too. I‘l... more inside

Hello Helpxler,

Welcome to Hof HUFE!

We are a married couple Anja and Arne (both 36) with our two daughters (15 years and 9 month). We are living next to the Baltic Sea, Hohwachter Bucht.
We are not that typical farm, but we have one dog, two cats, 7 chickens and two ducks. We have "normal" jobs, but in our free time we renovate our old living house, stable and barn.

We can use help with the animals, the garden, the renovation / constuction / painting work of the house, woodwork, also cooking (we prefer vegetable food)and cleaning. It's nice if you have some practical experience. The sun is not always shining, so please bring subtile clothing and shoes!

You will have your own room. Kitchen and bathroom you have to share with other Helpx people.

Minimum Stay is two weeks!

You should have some basic skills in German or English.

We live in a calm and beautiful landscape and we are only 3km from fabulous beaches, so very good for swimming, surfing and fishing in... more inside

We are a buddhist centre set in a beautiful mansion in the rural countryside just outside of Berlin, Germany. We hold regular evening meditation classes, courses and are specialised in silent retreats. The centre is open to the public and anyone is welcome whether buddhist or non-buddhist.

As a volunteering visitor you are welcome to take part in the spiritual activities at our Centre. In the evenings you are welcome to attend any of our regular meditation classes and our daily prayers in the meditation room. In addition for all our volunteers we offer a daily short 15 min meditation as part of your experience here.

Our Values:
Our center is a peaceful space of meditation and silent retreats and we ask all our volunteers and guests are respectful of this environment. My gardener work has three different sectors.I grow perennial plants on an organic field. Mainly I sell this as plants and sometimes make bouquets of flowers of it. I plant and care private gardens also.
In spring I do a few big markets for a organic working perennial gardener and sell there a lot of flower plants and very much different herbs.
I need help from March till November, but not in August. Welcome are Wwoofers who are interested in plants and the work I´m doing.
A lot of work is weeding the field, but there are also always different kind of work, also depends in what you are able to do. If you like you can learn a lot about plants.

Dear Travellers,

Our place is located in a small, rural village in the north-east of Germany.
We are a family living together on the farm and running the projects.

Activities now, next to gardening is is restoring an old brick building to set up workshops for courses, inventing tools and common activities.
We install also a juice making-manufactory.

There is beautiful nature around, such as a nature protection area, small river, meadows, woods, and a lake to swim.

Living-conditions are:
-outdoor solar shower in summer
-outside compost toilet
-waste prevention
-heating with firewood
-no possibility to spend money in the village

Help us redo our old house, the old Cheese factory in Steingaden, upper Bavaria. We need help with painting, moving furniture, cleaning and lots of other things. If you are a nice, motivated, easy going person that likes kids and doesn`t mind some noise and a little chaos, perhaps you are the right helper for us. We would share our daily life, our house and food with you and would appreciate somebody that doesn`t mind getting dirty sometimes.
We also would take on couples, if you are willing to help out with cooking, caring for our three great kids and are a genuinely nice person.
lots of leisure time activities available, from famous tourist sites to lakes, rivers and incredible mountains... We hope to hear from you soon, Mick and family

We live on a family farm or homestay with our 4 children (7,8,13,16, f,m,m,f) and dog, cat, chicken... and lots of work...
Since 7 years we live here and are renovating the house and the outer terrain. We are building with nature materials.
Our home is within nature in a stand alone location and skiing, hiking, walking the dog... is easy to do as you are surrounded by forest, meadows and walking trails. In white winter it is just beautiful to enjoy snow or to relax at the cosy wood burner...

Dresden and Freiberg are the next bigger towns and transport is possible every day as we work there.

Our family always is busy. Andrè works in his own business as a chef. Daniela has just started a second education to become a primary school teacher (part time work in the mornings) and she works as an instrumental teacher two afternoons per week - we are both self employed. Kids have dates, homework or other sensitivities...;-))) Self made music and theater are regular pursuits as well ... more inside
